Near giveaway price point, 4.7 Gigs of peak performance with a wonderfully understated elegant appearance. Touch screen is plenty bright enough to view in daylight. Two thumbs up

No Laptop Lock Opening
I bought two of this Laptop, one for me and the other for our Congregation. I have not had any major problem with either one. But over the weekend, while preparing for an overseas trip, I realized that the Laptop cannot be locked with a Laptop locking Cable. No opening on either side or back of the Laptop to attach a locking Cable to. This is the first ever Laptop (I have had at least eight Laptops over the years from Dell to HP) I have seen without the possibility to lock down. If anyone has any idea, I will be glad to receive it. I will also contact the Seller.

BEWARE OF PC ONLINE, THIRD PARTY VENDOR!
BEWARE! I bought what I thought was an HP 17.3” touch screen with 2TB and 64gb RAM (as advertised by PC Online on Amazon). The laptop was inoperable. PC Online tried to help over the phone. No luck. They suggested I send it directly to HP for warranty service. HP said it’s not covered since the machine was MODIFIED and does not fall within the configuration for that model. They do not have 2TB for that model AND the HP RAM had been replaced. These changes were incompatible with the HP BIOS. HP said, “this is fraud (selling the laptop as HP with HP warranty, but modified with other manufacturer parts, voiding the warranty).” HP wanted $481 to fix it. They kept it past the 30-day return period. I passed on the $481 fix and I returned it to PC Online. Even though this whole debacle was caused by them, and I couldn’t even use it, they kept $429 as a return fee! My daughter also bought an HP laptop with slightly different configuration in the same Amazon order. We found out how to check her RAM through Settings. It had also been replaced. Her laptop runs pretty slow. As she tries to open websites, the sites sit white for a couple of minutes before loading. PC Online will not answer my calls or emails. They get the machines back and can resell them, but keep 50% of the price without any explanation. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Beware of HP - HP Warranty Sneaky!
My computer came with a Windows 11 problem with the Windows Security app. Surprise No.. 1 - I called HP support and they told me that Windows was not covered under the warranty! They wanted to charge me extra to provide tech support for windows and would not discuss remedies until I paid. Bear in mind, this is a computer not even 1 month old. I declined because the return window from Amazon was still open. So I requested a return, which was approved. Then I purchased another - the exact same computer from the exact same seller. Then came the 2nd surprise - HP charges a restocking fee! A huge restocking fee - close to $200! Another trick, less noticeable but still tricky, the warranty starts on the day shipped. I lost a month plus because it was shipped November 12 but not put in service (i.e., opened) until Christmas day. I returned it within a month, which made this gripe meaningless, but something to consider when ordering for future use. 3rd surprise -The A-Z Warranty from Amazon was essentially voided by purchasing in November for presentation on Christmas. By the time I returned the computer, complained to the seller, and met the requirements to request A-Z, it became unavailable in Your Orders on the Amazon site. If you buy HP, read the small print very carefully. Be detailed oriented - It is designed to be overlooked.

Great images and keyboard responsiveness but volume level isn't great
I really like my new laptop's large clear screen. But as I bought it because I do workouts off the internet I expected a much better sound quality. The one I replaced , appx 7-9 years old, had a clearer and louder volume. If this doesn't matter to you then you should be fine.

Too late to send it back. Let the buyer beware.
Made the mistake of not consistently using laptop during the 1st days of purchase now a few months and 3rd time using laptop has stopped working completely. Battery area became very hot. Let the buyer beware. Glad I purchase the extended warranty otherwise I’ll be SOL.
