12 Pieces Hard Contact Lens Remover Tool for RGP & Scleral Lenses

Bought for only one purpose and it delivered. I wear rigid contacts and one of them moved bellow the pupil and got stuck. Two seconds after getting the removers I tried taking the lens out by pressing slowly but it didn't work. You have to apply a bit of strength .. My eye is safe! I don't need this product for regular use, I'm comfortable using my (clean) fingers. But if you are having trouble putting on /removing your contacts this tool is for you. Just don't be afraid of putting some pressure over your eyes, they can handle it. I like they come with small containers so they are portable. I keep two in my bag in case another accident happens.

Best way to remove hard contacts - quick and easy. Wish I knew about this years ago.

I would give this product zero stars if I could. These removers are absolutely horrible. The suction is extremely weak and unreliable when removing my scleral lenses. While taking out one of my lenses, the remover suddenly lost suction, causing my lens to fall into the sink and become scratched. Replacing a scleral lens is incredibly expensive, so this was a costly mistake caused by a defective product. This was a complete waste of money and should not be marketed for hard or scleral contact lenses. I would never trust these removers again and strongly recommend that anyone who wears scleral lenses avoid this product.

I cannot believe how well this tool works. As I've gotten older my eyes have become drier and my gas permeable contacts have become uncomfortable. At the end of the day it's become harder to remove them because of the dryness. Now with this tool I put some drops in each eye to create a layer of moisture on the lens and as soon as the tool makes contact with the lens it adheres to it and makes it very easy to pull off of the surface of the eye. There's no discomfort at all.

These contact lens suction cups come at a good price and generally, they meet my needs. The only knock that I can provide from experience using them, is that the rubber they're made from, tends to be a little stiffer than others I've bought at my optometrists office. And this slight stiffer consistency, results in slightly less suction ability than others I've used. However, it's not something that would prevent me from recommending others from buying these again. I do use them daily and so far, I've only used 1 with 2 others being stored in the car and backpack. They do work as intended and I would buy them again, if not for the fact that that now having 10 plungers, it may be several decades before I need to buy plungers again.
