just what i needed
Like the headline says - it does exactly what i needed a peripheral to do.I dont even stream - literally just needed something to manipulate all the audio outputs i have going on. one of them being a tv whose infrared sensor broke so forced to use virtual remote on phone to control it.now the floorstanders/tv used as 2nd screen for media and my pc desk speakers/headphone (discord, browser, game volume, vlc, mic) EVERYTHING is 1 dial away from being adjusted or muted.plug and play - v easy to set up.Its potential is under utilized as I would love it to detect specific programs like discord for instance.it could easily be a pip boy for fallout too ^^

Works pretty well
I'm quite impressed with this. Love the ability to quick toggle the main output between headphones and speakers. Setup was especially simple because once the software was installed it already knew to push common apps to the right channels/faders. Ie chrome/edge/firefox automatically switched the the browser control. If you want to move an app to another channel you can see things playing audio and drag them onto another channel in the app, its pretty easy to work. I think control of which apps go where, the routing and control of outputs is far better than the GoXLR (although note this has no XLR mic input)I had also considered the streamdeck+, that can also do things like launch apps and have media buttons. I already have a streamdeck (15key non+) and i find i need more buttons and have to setup mutiple pages so the 8 buttons on the SD+ is just too few, I also like the audio functionality better on this. For the best of both worlds id get this AND a normal streamdeck, the SD+ would make for a more affordable combo but its also a bit of a compromise.

Streamdeck meet Beacn create
A friend recommended this to me. The software allows output to two audio sources, and it primarily acts as a controller, without its own audio inputs or outputs—you use your computer’s onboard connections.I’m using it with a FiiO K5 Pro, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro headphones, and a Logitech 5.1 surround sound system. The ability to easily switch between headphones and speakers is fantastic. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that I’ve had a few issues with the software not loading on startup.

Intuitive audio control for streamers and content creators!
I've been beta testing BEACN Products since October 2021 and I can hand-on-heart say that I don't think I could go back to anything else now - having used products such GoXLR, Elgato's WaveLink, VoiceMeeter and even open source apps such as deej, nothing quite competes! The Mix Create is a highly versatile device that makes it so incredibly easy to manage your stream audio. With the click of a button you can instantaneously hear exactly what it is your stream hears with submixing. It's sleek design fits nicely into my setup, without taking up all of my desk space! Even since I've stopped streaming, I still find myself using the Mix Create because it's just so easy to use!In a few other reviews, I've seen the stability of software mentioned. I'll admit, at launch it wasn't uncommon to run into a bug that could bring your audio to a crashing halt, however, there have been MASSIVE improvements and numerous software updates. I've not a crash in months with recent software iterations. And for the users that are unfortunate enough to encounter an issue, I'd advise reaching out to their support team ASAP. I know first hand that they are fantastic at working 1:1 with you to find a resolution quickly and get you squared away!

Huge Latency Issue!
As much as I wanted to love this, and after reading other reviews, thought this would be so good, its actually shocking how bad it is for the price.Firstly, idea is great - total control over audio on the computer, which you can then setup for live streaming if you would like to. This concept is exactly what I was looking for, and the reason I paid over £150 for this. It's worth noting that it has no inputs or outputs, this is all about the software - so you still need an audio interface. But, I had read the description, I knew this and was fine with it, as I had a focusrite interface which is worked with fine.HOWEVER, and this is the huge negative, the latency on playback is absolutely crazy. As soon as you listen to what your audience would be listening to, the problem starts. the latency is around 3-4 SECONDS, minimum and it actually gets worse the longer the thing is plugged in. As the stream goes on, the latency gets worse and worse.I troubleshooted, tried different setups, outputs - nothing worked. Its such a shame and when you check help articles as I did on Google, the company don't want to know - I read some of their replies to other people with the same problem and they just said that they can't guarantee anything.I would avoid this, unless you are just looking for a direct monitoring for PC volume, if you are streaming, avoid at all costs.
