Not a have to have, but I definitely like it.
Used on my DJI Goggles 2. Fits great, & works as advertised. If you are already used to them, it won't do anything extra, but if you have a hard time easily finding the right spot to access your goggles touch pad etc, this definitely makes it easier. Comes with 2x which justifies the price a bit more. Sticks great, no issues with it moving or coming loose. So they should last a very long time.
