It doesn't drip! It keeps tea hot! However, one star is deducted because of the lid. It is rather flimsy, which doesn't have a detrimental effect on the teapot's overall performance, but the little knob should have been insulated. The handle stays cool thankfully.When I read another review which criticized the knob I did think it was being rather picky, and wouldn't be a problem. However, due to the tea tending to get a bit stewed because it's kept hot, it is necessary to remove the teabag(s) when the tea has brewed to the desired strength, so you have to be very careful not to burn your fingers when handling the lid. I get round this by not putting the lid on until the tea is brewed, and teabags removed. Wanted an insulated teapot so I wouldn’t need a tea cosy. I have found this teapot does keep the tea warm enough for about 30 mins. It holds enough for about 3 and half mugs of tea. The knob on the lid does get very hot but if I need to remove I use the tea cloth. But the sides and handle do not get hot. The teapot looks very attractive on my kitchen work top. Overalls I am very happy with it. Glad to purchase a British made item.

A very good product that keeps tea very warm. The pot is a good shape and pours very well. I have one problem with the teapot, and that is the lid! It's very dangerous as it is boiling hot! My wife and I have forgotten several times how hot it gets, and have had quite a scare taking it off. Do you have a protector of some kind to cover the knob on the lid? a gorgeous looking ,flawlessly executed, work of art, superb workmanship,lid has three sprung clips that grip when lid pushed down, also has vent hole, non drip spout,empty weight 624g, full ,more than 1.5 kg so, is heavy, knob held by screw, handle and knob get hot, but minor consideration. best way for hot tea, is to buy small milk containers, and leave one out of the fridge, milk straight from the fridge reduces temperature most.needs a long spoon to reach the bottom of the pot, big enough for 3 mugs of tea. not recommended for frail elderly people as is very heavy.

This teapot easily holds enough for a full 'round' of tea for a family of four... even when a couple of us have really big mugs to fill (and it would probably just about do a round of six sensibly sized cups). It pours nicely - albeit with quite a slow flow (that initially took a bit of getting used to) - with no dribbles. And it looks great.As others have said, the knob on the top of the lid can get unfeasibly hot after it's been left to stand for a bit, so do take care! But, as the pot can happily hold plenty of liquid in the first place, it's a rare occasion that I find it needs topping up mid-round anyway, so I'm not going to mark it down for that. Very happy.

Excellent tea pot. No dribbles. Takes a few brews to get it tasting right, but thats the way with all new pots. Stays warm for ages, no need for a cozy really. The only down side is the knob on the top gets very hot after a while, you notice this if you try to top it up with hot water. The handle however does not get hot, so thats the more important thing. Washes nicely and keeps it's shine with a buff from a dry cloth. I'm very pleased with my teapot. Modern look, but would also work well in a traditional kitchen.

Bought this for my daughter as she uses hundreds of teabags in the cup! Very stylish teapot which is double walled stainless steel in the body. The spout isn't so can get hot. She is very pleased with it as it is not only stylish but does what it says on the tin and keeps the tea nice and hot. The lid is held in place with three small spring clips so does need a firm pull to remove but it is not too difficult and I expect with time this will get easier. Good value for the money when a singled walled stainless steel teapot is almost the same price. Job done!
