It's a great item for working in small spaces. I am a machinist and in my job sometimes we have smaller work, mostly I work on larger rolls to take a hoist to pick up and put into the milling machine in order to cut keyways and drill and tap holes in the rolls, but on the smaller rows I do need those small files to help deburr around threads in the face of the rolls for the keyway start and they come in very handy and they seem to be very good quality and provide all the service I need is that I am performing my job tasks!

While I am not a luthier, I do take pride in doing most all of the work on my high-end classical guitar myself, and these files have been indispensable. The bone nut on the classical guitar should be filed with a triangular file (this is the Spanish method) because the triangular cut provides for more surface of the area of the string to contact the nut than the normal square nut-file cut that is usually used for steel strings allows for. The diamond triangular file was perfect for this. Additionally, I needed to make an adjustment on a new set of German-made tuners, and the other steel files in the set were perfect for filing the back of the tuners' steel plate to remove a couple of high spots due to the way in which the tuners themselves were put onto the tuner plates. The steel flat-file cut effortlessly. Also, the handy case keeps all of the files in order and in one place in the file drawer of my toolbox. Excellent set of files! I would definitely purchase them again if I needed to!

Quality is good. Only used one file as of today and no complaints. The organizing bag is a plus.

These seem really well made, especially when considering the price. I was surprised by the inclusion of a card file that actually works quite well.

Excellent set, purchased to modify clock hands to fit two new quartz movemens and it couldn’t be done without at least three of the diamond files, but collectively it made a significant addition to my tools. For those who need such files, these are totally without regret and well priced.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: So many different sizes. Handle quality: Easy to hold, great grip Build quality: different sizes and lengths, really great for sterling silver jewelry. Works well: I love using these, I have a dremel, but some stuff needs to be hand sanded. Size: A variety of sizes. The package is small and compact, easy to tote around. Grip: Grip is smooth and doesn’t hurt my hands. Ease of cleaning: Easy to clean the particles off with the proper cleaning bristle brushes.

Everything I expected these little files to do, they have done well. Here’s my caveat to that: they were replacing an old set of diamond files about five years old. Am I gonna get the same work out of these new ones?

Nice set and carry case

Très bon lot de limes et râpes. Je les aient utilisés pour limés de l'acier, de l'alu, et du bois. Et ça respire la qualité ! Le fait qu'une housse soit fourni est un vrai plus ! Toujours bien rangés, et ça évite que les râpes abîmes les autres outils.
