First book is the best ... this one is very samey
I really did try to enjoy this book, I loved the first one, the 2nd was ok in parts but this one was hard work. The author has made a life choice to live on a narrow boat with her family and the book probably accurately describes the hardships of alternative living. It did not make me laugh out loud, it did not make me smile, the poor woman's family having to put up with all the demands she makes on them and her poor husband! Suck it and see you might like it but for me it was same old story retold in book three, sorry I can't be more positive.

Fabulous book !
This is one of a set of 4. They are some of the best books I have read.The descriptions have you laughing and crying, I will read them again and again
