3 days of fizzy store brand soda!!
This device Gives me 3 full days fizzy store brand soda. I drink quite a bit of Kroger brand and Publix brand caffeine free soda prior to having this device. My drinks would go flat middle till later part of day two after having opened the soda this device has the drink still fizzy on day, two, and all through day three. By then I’ve usually consumed the whole bottle on my own. Prior to purchasing this pump, my 2 L bottle would be flat with 1 Liter of soda still in there. By owning this pump, I have reduced my soda waste. I don’t know about the longevity of this, as I’ve only owned two months, but in the two months I’ve owned it. It has paid for itself. Some of the negative reviews people are complaining. It doesn’t keep fizz a week, but who takes one week to consume a 2 L bottle of soda? Others have complained. The orifice is narrowed and the soda doesn’t pest freely, well that’s not a big deal. It’s only slightly narrowed, if anything soda pours easier now especially if you were an older person he might have trembling hands. Another concern people have had is how long will the hinge last? I don’t use the hinge that often many times I just unscrew the device. Please watch my video. The soda I am pouring out is on day number three. Also I’ve never needed to cut off the ring on the Kroger, Publix or Walmart sodas to achieve a tight seal with this pump.

Really works!
Game changer. I had a 2L bottle of soda with one of these on it for about 3 weeks and it was still fizzy when I opened it again. When the bottle is still fairly full, it takes about a dozen pumps. When the bottle is much lower it can take up to 60 pumps. I just switch hands halfway through. I have tendinitis and this does not trigger it surprisingly. I bought 3 more of these!

worth the money 100%, but there are cheaper options. I like it.
does a great job topping off the pressure in the soda bottle. because the CO2 is trying to equalize the pressure in the bottle, the sooner you can get high pressure on the liquid, the less CO2 gets out of solution. for that function, I give 5 stars. its a great product. where it loses a star is in the inclusion of a flip top latch. Mybe this is a plus with some people, in my world, it makes the cap more difficult to screw on and off. it releases fast and with a substantial POP! which is good, but getting it to seal and latch again is tricky. IMO, its a better product if it is a simple screw on/off application.

If This Isn't Working For You, You Are Doing Something Wrong Or Yours Is Defective
I've found this to be an excellent product. I'll do my best to walk you thorough how I've obtained my excellent results: 1) After opening the 2 liter bottle of soda I cut off the remaining plastic ring from the top of the bottle. This is a MUST DO for this gadget to work properly. 2) Screw on the Fizz-keeper while it is closed tightly. Make sure the plastic washer is on the bottom of the Fizz-keeper. Mine is white. It is this washer that seals the Fizz-keeper to the bottle. Tighten the Fizz-keeper securely to the bottle but do not over tighten it. 3) Making sure the Fizz-keeper's bulb is latched completely to itself. Then simply pump the bulb. I hold the bottle with one hand, squeezing the bottle slightly as I pump the bulb with the other. You will feel the bottle tightening as you pump air into it. If it doesn't begin to tighten something is wrong. It isn't completely closed or screwed to the bottle well or missing the washer or detective. So when the bottle becomes slightly hard to squeeze it is tight enough. It is this preasure that holds in the carbonation. Don't over pump the bulb because this will build unnecessary pressure inside of the bottle causing the Fizz-keeper to be harder to open and resulting in a loud "pop". Maybe even blowing it off of the bottle causing injury or worse. You would have to be a pumping fool to achieve this much pressure but it could happen. Don't worry, with a little practice you will get the "feel" of all of this pretty quickly. 4) When I'm ready for some soda I press the release lever as I hold the bottle. Don't be supsuprised if there is a "pop" when opening. This is nomal and it assures that the bottle was pressurized and the drink should stll have carbonation. That's it. 4) The one thing I failed to mention: DON'T SHAKE IT! As with all carbonated beverages, if you shake them the preasure builds and POP goes the Weasel! I've had great luck using my little Fizz-keeper and I hope you will too. I felt $9 was a bit too expensive for this but after doing the math it's not bad. I don't go through 2 liters of soda quickly and I usually throw away a quarter of it because it's flat. This little dude has solved that. I realize this is made of plastic and polymer and it will dry out and crack and become useless. But if this thing works for 50 bottles it will have more than payed for itself. Then I'll buy another one. This review, like all of my reviews, is not paid for in anway. I only do this to be helpful.

New units don't seal on day 1
I've used these for several years, both at work and home. The first few began failing due to worn out rubber in the bulb. I bought replacements here, and none of them were able to seal so I am returning the current one and no longer trying replacements. So I've tried multiple units, multiple 2L bottles, varying amounts of pressure, and monitored how long they kept pressure. I've even tried using sealing lubricant, and nothing works. All of the recent units I've ordered from here differ from the old ones in the shape of the whitish seal and ABS support. It looks like it is no longer shaped to use the high pressure to improve the seal.

You can't handle the fizz!
I've only had this for a week or far but I am already in love! It works awesome to keep the 2l soda fizzy. I'm a cheap old curmudgeon and buy the cheapest soda I can which means after the first glass the rest of the bottle is flat. Flat no longer that is! I chose this type over the pump as it doesn't have to be taken off to pour the soda. The bottle opening is a little more restricted and since the carbonation is still fresh I have to pour slower anyway to avoid the dreaded fizz foam My only worry is durability. So far fine and I'll update this review should that change but I am mildly concerned about the plastic latch giving up the ghost. For the price I am a satisfied customer and if I get a year out of it it will be a very worthwhile investment.

Works But Doesn't Last
I have purchased several of these. They work at first but don't last as noted in other reviews.

Great Gadget!!
This gadget is a game changer!! It really works to keep the fizz in your 2-liter pop. Since usually the cheapest way to buy pop is in 2 liter bottles, it will save you money. Liked the first one so much I bought another.

Doesn't fit all bottles
On the bottles it does fit, it's an awesome device and works brilliantly. Few pumps and the contents are kept fizzy for when you next use it.

bouchon pompe soda

Jokaris actually WORK!
A month in, the two Jokaris we ordered are still working perfectly. That can NOT be said for all the cheap ones we've tried -- they don't work AT ALL, right out of the package.

Muy eficaz
He tenido varios dispositivos para conservar el gas en refrescos, y este mecanismo es el mejor. La única duda q tengo es en cuanto a la durabilidad...

Amazon is unreliable, so I got diddled!
Exhorbitantly overpriced, I found same from the manufacturer itself at two thrds the cost including shipping but too expensive to return since shippibg back is at my own cost. Amazon has been useless as it only showed the one seller and I had bought previously in pack of 2 so I thought I was paying for 2. Manufacturer website also said usually sold in 2's. Only found out by chance when I searched again. I paid about $33 when the cost from manufacturer online is less than $20. Amazon, NEVER AGAIN will I buy from you.
