Nicely machined piece of acrylic, arrived in stiff cardboard jacket similar to a record jacket. As others have noted, it is not as “white” as in photos, but still looks nice and has the FLUANCE logo frosted into the top. Coupled with a record clamp on my Pro-Ject E1, it definitely improved overall sound. Seems punchier, clearer and better bass response. Quite satisfied. Overall improvement may vary from turntable to turntable, of course.

Came nicely packaged in a record sleeve, I was a bit apprehensive about what others were saying about tightening the Bass response but it actually does, also instruments sound more defined and spaced out, what I found most impressive is the static that I was experiencing has gone, this was the main reason for buying this mat and I'm not disappointed, the best upgrade you can get for a turntable and for not a lot of money, very pleased

I bought this platter to replace the stock wool felt mat of Rega P3 RS edition. The mat made improvements right away. First, it causes significantly less static that the felt mat. I hear more refined bass, which results in better mid and high. It also looks gorgeous with the table.

Tappetino scenico. Fa la sua bella figura "luminosa" appoggiato sul giradischi. È opacizzato, non completamente trasparente. Migliora la "presa" sul disco e ne riduce quindi le vibrazioni, essendo un materiale molto simile a livello chimico del vinile. Nonostante sia descritto come Fluance compatibile soltanto con certi modelli, prendendo le misure ho voluto provare a rischiare col mio giradischi (un Teac) ed è assolutamente perfetto.

Excellent plateau en acrylique d’une marque réputée dans le domaine de l’audio. J’ai longtemps hésité avec d’autres alternatives un peu moins cher, et plutôt bien noté sur le site, mais finalement j’ai décidé de faire confiance à Fluance, une marque surtout connu pour ses platines vinyles de qualité aux États-Unis. Que dire de ce plateau, il est bien construit, joli à l’œil et légèrement givré, ce qui peut sembler lui donner un effet opaque, mais il devient plutôt transparent lorsque vous le posez sur le plateau de votre platine, on voit donc le métal dessous, ce qui pourra gêner certaines personnes. Selon moi, cela rajoute un effet esthétique, plutôt agréable. Concernant l’amélioration de la qualité du son de lecture, il est difficile de le juger, mais je pense que les vibrations sont bien moins importantes avec ce plateau, que les basses sont un peu plus profondes et surtout je n’ai quasiment plus aucun problème d’électricité statique lorsque je retire le vinyle après lecture, ce qui était le cas avec mon précédent plateau en liège. Bref je recommande ce produit qui pour son prix offre une qualité très intéressante, un rendu esthétique sympa et une petite amélioration dont il serait dommage de se priver.
