Light weight construction
This support is light weight, easy to assemble with spring loaded pins and easy to install with a slot screwdriver. Remove the existing toilet seat, add the back tank facing part and reinstall the seat. The aluminum tube material is light weight and flexes. Does not seem sturdy but does the job. I would feel more confident with steel materials with a brace between the front legs. That may be more psychological than necessary. This design would be great for hotel stays. Easy install and removal with simple disassembly makes it very travel friendly.

Slightly wobbly
Good product but a bit wobbly. Not for putting full weight on or pulling up. It suits our purpose of just aiding in standing up.

Three Stars
Simple design and easy to install, but not as sturdy as they should be for heavier people.

This has been a most important piece of equipment in my husband's recovery.
In 2017, my husband had a major bleeding event at the insertion side of a cardiac stent. As a result, he bled out and went into cardiac arrest. He coded (twice). After 4 weeks in ICU, and 4 more months in the hospital and rehab facility, I was able to bring him home. I bought this to help with his recovery. When he first went to use it, he said, "this doesn't look like what they have in the rehab center". I said, "no" but it was recommended. He tried it and loved it! He said, "it's better than what they had. I can push up from the commode with my arms rather than trying to grab a bar on a wall that may or may not be very close." I was concerned about the weight of his pressure while trying to stand but it has stood up very well and still doing great. It was a life-safer for both me and my husband as he can get on and off the toilet without my help. I highly recommend this.

it would be great and I would give it 5 stars
The only reason I give it only one star is my assumption that potential buyers check out the one star reviews. I would give it 5 stars, but it is just not sturdy enough. I weigh 18o pounds ,had stroke and my left side is paralyzed so I have to support myself with my right arm/hand to sit down and get up . I would buy it again, since I haven't found a better one I wish the bottom section would be available with one that had a more spread foot or a bent one that could be exchanged for the original one

questionable
Description says "tool-free assembly" – true, but tools are needed for installation. Although installation/assembly should be obvious to the average buyer, the supplied instructions are goofy and wrong. Google cannot find a contact for the company Casiva Health nor does the listed web site casivahealth.com work. So if you have problems later, you will be unable to contact the supplier or manufacturer. Makes one a bit dubious about this product.

Works like a charm
This has been installed in the main bathroom of my parents to assist them getting on and off the toilet because of their health issues ..... It doesn't take up a lot of room and if other people use the bathroom it is not in their way as previous ones were.

Stable but installation took a little work
The piece that attaches to toilet seat screws was a tight fit between the toilet seat holes and tank. Had to file the screw holes and change the toilet seat to make it work. Arms are easy to attach and easy to adjust height.
