Item blew up in my hand
Was being used normally and only for a few min at 380C, then just blew up in my hand and caught fire, also sent spark/something molten across my room

Acceptable Kit!
Cant beat it for the money! I purchased this kit because i was in the market for a seldom used soldering iron. While i was shopping, i had the need to use my ohm meter and could not find it. When I saw this kit included a meter,i decided to go for it. The meter is of low quality but if you don't need a lab quality instrument, this does fine. The meter is acceptable and the soldering iron is also of low quality but acceptable. It gets the job done as does the meter. All the extras are just iceing on the cake. The case is a good addition and keeps the whole kit nicely intact. If you use these items rarely, or need them as spares, this kit is great!

This is the perfect gadget repair pack for the once in awhile repair guy!
This thing has everything you could ever need and then some I'm not a big tech guy but for this price I have the gadget to fix any future projects! I would highly recommend if a dummy like me can use it!

Good as a spare.
Great extra set. Perfect for a cary bag, or mobile repairs. It's not good quality, but it is functional. For this price, cannot complain. If you're a hobbyist, get this set and it'll teach you what you need to spend money on, and what you can get away with.

Terrible tips/iron but comes with enough supplies to justify the price
I'm giving it 3 stars because of the "full kit" having a multimeter and a bunch of little supplies you will need, but the soldering iron itself has not worked. The tips repel solder and won't wet ... no amount of Rosin or sponging it off will help. Now I will have to buy tinning flux, brass wool and a bunch of other crap to have any hope of using it. As is, it cannot solder anything. Solder refuses to be near the tip. It will literally run back up the solder wire roll itself to run from the tip and heat. Won't bond to or wet anything. Whatever they made these tips from would be great for the table/floors in a factory ... solder would never stick to it, lol.
