Linksys WUSB6300 AC1200 Dual Band Wireless USB 3.0 Adapter

Easy to install and get running I was on wireless within10 mins of unboxing! Range seems OK. Router is in kitchen on ground and I am on 3rd floor. Line test shows upload speed at 7.99mbps and download speed at 32.14mbps. Good value for the price.

Great Wireless adapter for Gaming and low Lag. There are a couple things that can fault it though. For instance when you plug it in windows 10 would auto install a driver for it and once it does that the CD that comes with it would not be able to be installed. Luckily the driver windows installs works perfect. Another problem i have had is if you are on Virgin Media or a ISP that provides both 2GHz and 5GHz speeds you will need to connect to both 2GHz and then connect to 5GHz to get the full speed. When i connected to just 5GHz first it gave me very low speeds and networks glitches. Once i found that work around though i am currently getting 210mbp/s Download Speeds and 20mb/ps Upload which is what my hub can fully output. Overall once you have got past the Minor annoyances it is one of if not the best USB adapters i have used.

Perfect in every way. I cannot fault it and it is a truly 5 star product. I have tried others and they either overheat or judders during video playback , etc. etc. There are some with good speeds but sport unsatisfactory setup and options. This has the best of both worlds. Fastest I have seen for continuous server use including judder free 4k HD streaming. Does not appear to run hot. Set up was easy. Installed on a Synology server. I must admit that it is rather big for a USB dongle format. I have had to move my server off of the windowsill. In fact I have had to completely relocate the server as the presence of this dongle meant that it does not fit not only on the windowsill any longer, but I cannot even place it near a wall. This dong -le is huge! My guess is that the plastic used in the manufacture of this dongle has powdered viagra added to it. Forged to extend straight out of your USB 'port' erect and proud. Linksys WUSB6300 AC1200 appears to be the Ron Jeremy of dongles. As you may have guessed by now, huge is better in this case. How else can we explain its perfect functionality? Everything just works. Huge satisfaction. Deep satisfaction. Mmmm... perfect.

This is absolutely useless. i bought it because it's supposed to be able to pick up my 5G network as well as my 2G. Well, it doesn't. And not only that, it drops the signal at least once every 10 mins, which is INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING when I'm trying to send files, update my website, or just do anything really. Luckily, it doesn't affect my porn habits because I can usually get off in under 5 mins but that;s not the point. This thing isn't even half as good as the old Belkin adapter I replaced with this, and that thing lasted more than 5 years before going kaput. I would have retuned this, because it must be a faulty one, but I couldn't hold an internet connection long enough to do so within the eligible time-frame. I bought this adapter to connect to the excellent Asus N66U Router Asus RT-N66U - 900Mbps Dual Band Wireless N Router, Gigabit LAN/WAN, 2x USB, Print FTP UPnP VPN Server, IPv6, 8x SSID, Wireless 3D HD content streaming, 3 Year Warranty so that i could make use of the 5ghz wifi which has less interference. I get a solid 450 MBPS on 5ghz & 450 - 350 MBPS on 2.4ghz when in use, speedtests results are equal to that of a wired ethernet connection, no problems with wifi disconnections & its very easy to set up. All you need to do is download the latest drivers from Linksys website beforehand & install. I didn't bother with the utility CD or the extension cradle that was included so cant comment on that but there not needed anyway

OK, first thing's first. This stick works. I can hit my maximum download speed from upstairs with this (100 Mbps+). 3 other adapters I have tried come nowhere close, awesome. The bad news is: the bundled driver on the CD is faulty: it is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STEAM. Spent a whole day pulling my hair out over this. Finally discovered older drivers on the linksys website, installed these and fixed the Steam issue. Trawling the Steam forums shows that this is a common issue with linksys adapters, so, if you use Steam, think carefully before you buy, and don't install the bundled drivers. Downloads a 3.something driver, drivers on disc are 5.something.

I've seen some bad reviews here about this product but still decided to give it a try. In my case in one word: fantastic!!! I've had a lot of problems with my wireless card on my laptop which is the infamous intel wireless-n 7260. You could ask me why not replace it with another make??? Well my Lenovo laptop's bios allows installation only few other adapters which are very hard to find anyway. Having upgraded my sky router to sky q hub modem-router I wanted to fully enjoy its speed capability. For that I had to get ac adapter and the linksys ae6000 lets me do that without any problems whatsoever. It gives me a very stable and reliable both speed and connection. I've tried before other cheaper usb adapters but they were totally useless. I've attached two photos of connection speed test, first one is from linksys adapter, second from on-board intel wireless card. Advertised speed by Sky is 80 down/20 up so being able to get 74.35 down/ 19.19 up is awesome! Highly recommended!!!

Pour l'instant je suis entièrement satisfaite du produit. Mon ordinateur fixe ne possédant pas de carte réseau et mon studio n'étant pas équipé de prises ethernet, il a fallu que je prenne une clé wifi afin de pouvoir le connecter à Internet. La première clé achetée (une petite TP-Link à 8 euros) ne parvenant pas à me fournir de bons débits, j'ai opté pour cette clé, un peu plus chère mais dont les avis semblent bons. Bien emballée et facile à installer sur Windows 10, j'ai simplement été chercher les drivers sur le site du constructeur et le wifi a été détecté instantanément. Je capte du 28 Mbps avec 20 de ping, soit la même chose que sur mon Macbook pro et sur mon téléphone. Rien à redire, pour l'instant je suis satisfaite.

Formally it is both USB 3.0 and Gigabit, but it doesn't give you more than 500Mbps in local network transfer. And even this speed is not stable. My laptop Gigabit LAN card gave me full very stable 1000Mbps speed before I broke it physically. But this product is still doing better job than in-built Wi-Fi card, so I kept it. There are far worse "USB 3 Gigabit" products... Some are USB 2.0, some have 100Mbps LAN.

Für mich war noch wichtig das er eine LED hat, somit erkenne ich das er eine Verbindung herstellen konnte, bei anderen fehlt diese LED.

Die Installation war ein Kinderspiel. Die Funktion ist super. Der Router steht im Erdgeschoss, der Rechner im ersten Stock. Super Verbindung, ich kann nicht klagen.
