I bought this machine because my Hoover carpet cleaner was on it’s last legs and I wanted something that had steam capabilities for a deeper clean. This machine not only got a deeper clean, but it’s pretty much a better machine in every way. It’s suction is far more powerful and extracts the carpet much better. It also gets the carpet fairly hot and leaves it far cleaner than before. The best part is how easy it is to clean the machine, it comes apart very easily with not to many small parts. The only issue is that it’s fairly heavy and the steam mode does use a lot more water than just water alone. Hopefully this machine lasts because right now it’s incredible!

I had a Hoover Steamvac with SpinScrub that parts are hard to get now, and it really was a pain to clean. It really did not do a very good job either, with new models being much better I ordered a new one. I picked the BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner Model 3432. As I have dogs, a saint Bernard and a Rottweiler, hair is a real problem for any carpet cleaner. But this model makes getting hair out of the machine so easy and very little even gets into the tank, so the PET model is just a must. The steam function really works; this is no joke like the Hoover Steamvac that only warmed the water. The steam really breaks up stuff deep in the carpet, it heats the water to steam very fast, in under a minute. The three modes are easy to set and use by pushing a button and the three indicators let you know what mode you are in. All you need to do is push and pull the machine around and use the trigger button when you want to use whatever mode you are in. The solution tank is so easy to fill and use, and even the waste tant is easy to clean and install. This thing is just so easy to clean, I am so impressed at these improvements. All things combined make this carpet cleaner a good value for its ease of use and cleanup, let alone on how well it cleans a carpet. I am very happy with this unit and so glad I spent the extra money for this model.

While I haven't used many carpet shampooers in the past, this on does the job nicely! It is easy to setup and use! The hand attachments work as well. There is a lot of suction, which think is necessary for removal of the materials from the floor. It really pulls dirt out! A lot of times I'll use only hot water in high traffic areas for a quick pickup and it still cleans! We've loaned it to others and they've been impressed. It's not horrible loud, easy to dump and clean out. I definitely recommend this one!

I debated back and forth on this purchase for a long time. It's a LOT of money to spend on a carpet cleaner and the guy who cleans my carpets professionally once a year dreads people getting these things because they tend to use too much soap and just make matters worse. I had been looking at Sharks because I prefer their vacuums but, I finally decided since this one had the steam function and I have the smaller HydroSteam spotter it was going to be worth the extra money. The box was damaged upon delivery, that made me nervous but nothing on the machine seemed broken so I put it together and used it. I cleaned my family room and stairs with this. Overall, it did a pretty good job and the water was very dirty when I was dumping it and the carpet does appear clean. (I don't allow shoes in the house or food on the carpet so I did not have any visible spots but there was a difference.) It seemed to suck up the water okay but it did take two days to dry the room completely after cleaning so obviously, the suction could be better. But, my big issue is... it never steamed and I wanted the extra heat in the water like the professional cleaners have. I have the small Bissell Hydrosteam Spotter and it steams quickly but this never did. Overall, the lack of steam and heat makes this completely disappointing. If the steam is a dealbreaker for you, as it would have been for me, save yourself $200 and buy a $150 Hoover to spot clean and use the money you saved to have the carpets professionally cleaned.

I finally broke down and I purchased this Bissell. I had been researching it and reading all the “Worst” reviews because I wanted to see what the worst thing about it was according to the people who bought the machine. BUY IT BEFORE YOU CONSIDER HIRING PROFESSIONALS!! Because I was considering hiring someone to do it. The major traffic stains came out with ease!! I’ve only shampooed the carpet in the picture once!! And I honestly didn’t even use the recommended cleaning solution that Bissell recommends (Although I Certainly WILL NOW) But that definitely SOLD ME after using this machine! I have no complaints and I was leaving a review for this machine no matter how the outcome was. PROS: Weight and Ease of setup from my front door to ready to clean the carpet only took 20 minutes!! Works better than I even expected and if you want to deep clean your carpets and keep them clean this is the best bang for your buck!! Water Tank capacity wasn’t that bad! I wanted a deeper clean and the tank capacity was easy to switch out and get back to work! The cleaning of the machine and the accessories were all easy to clean after use!! The plastic parts are plastic so they can be broken! Read the instructions how to remove them before you start cleaning the machine and you’ll be fine!!

This thing has been phenomenal I use it every week. Couches, carpets abused by my pets and babies. Cleans everything, I always use stain remover and follow the soap level guides for the right dilution. The suction on the floor tool is better than the hand tools. The carpet does dry WAY faster than the couches and chairs. Might take 2 passes but it's so easy to clean out the canister too. I would make the bottom dirty water and the little clean water tank the same size, the capacity seems lopsided. Haven't had any leaks. Would recommend!

I have owned several different carpet cleaners and this blows them all out of the water. Went over an area that I had done 3 days before with my old machine before it randomly died, the water was black coming out of the carpet. Even on the deep clean setting it only takes a day for the carpet to dry. The machine is east to set up and even easier to use, I don't use bissel solution I use HDX Extractor from home depot and it works great as long as you follow the instructions on the bottle not the lines on the jug. The part I love is how easy it is to clean the head, not to mention how easy it is to remove the dirty water container.

This is great product. Finally all in one stop go!!
