Good support struts but a little heavier hold than I needed
These worked as replacements for the fiberglass bed cover on my Tacoma. I wasn’t sure what weight of hold I needed but that’s my fault as these are a bit harder to close than the original struts were, but I don’t have to worry about the fiberglass cover falling on my head.

The wind caught the door on our class C RV and broke the original opener. This one is an exact replacement for much less than the RV parts place wanted. I guess you could say I'm a happy camper!

Product worked as detailed
Product worked for me for the glass hatch of the camper shell. The only issue that I had was the metal c clamp that attaches to the ball came off a couple times. So I had to tighten the c clamp to fit better. Not necessarily a product issue, possible just a camper shell variety where the shock fitting might differ slightly due to wear or possible casting and metal tong issue. No problems since.

It is not a 20 inch strut. Only about 19.
I’m sure the struts are fine, but in my case I needed exactly 20 inches from pivot point to pivot point. The strut turned out to only be about 19.2 inches which would not allow my boat hatch door to open all the way. It has to open all the way to allow the ketch to engage. Another typical company giving false information. I guess for a hatch of a car or a truck. it probably is not a big deal, but for a boat it has to be just right.

Works.
They were 40 lb which I didn't realize as the ones they replaced were 25lb so not as easy to use.There was no instructions how to take apart and install. Fortunately it was understandable.
