Beard Balm - Sandalwood - 2 oz

If you're reading the review, you're probably interested in the Sandalwood Beard Balm -Beard Butter... from Viking Revolution. If you have facial hair of any significant length, my suggestion would be to add it to your cart before you check out or log off. If you're thinking to yourself-"I don't need this", yes, you do. I've been using this for almost a year. It's easy to apply, smells great (it's subtle) and makes my beard about 98% more manageable without feeling overly waxy or greasy. One heads up. I have arthritis. The lid of the tin was applied very securely. So securely in fact that I had to ask my brother to open it for me. but it's all good. I recommend it. My cat approves.

So far I like the Viking product: it does what it claims and it’s fragrance is not overpowering. I’ve seen others complain about the difficulty in opening the screw tin. This is what works for me (but it is too expensive if you have no use for the assistance product except this tin): Dycem. It is a sticky silicone pad used in physical therapy. It is sold by the roll, and it is sold on Amazon. It allows me to open the tin in seconds.

This smells great but it's NOT sandlewood. That or the Viking Revolution beard conditioner I use isn't sandlewood. Still a great product, like the smell (more fruit notes) just think it got the wrong lid/label on it

I really like this product, and I'm ready to but it again. This helps calm down those stray hairs and allow you to sculpt your beard (or mustache) as you see fit. I like to add a bit of water to break it down when applying it. I have noticed that some of it will "clump" together as the day goes on, but that gives my wife something to pick at. Regarding the size; when I got this product I thought: "That's it. I'm going to need to buy this every month." Two things came to pass: 1) it turns out using a beard balm is like asking your barber for a flat top, you rarely use it. I use this when I'm going out somewhere nice (and I've been married 30 years so that isn't vey often). 2) I little bit goes a long way! Unless you're trying to manage a ZZ TOPP beard a little bit on your finger tips, wetted down and applied is all you need. Smell: My wife loves this stuff. I can't use it much or she won't leave me alone. Strangely, it hasn't had that effect on other women yet. Maybe it's my wedding ring. On a side note: I got distracted when going to use it and ended up putting it in my hair. Needless to say, my hair didn't move all day. This may be my new sculpting product for the top of my head.

This beard balm is great. I like the smell of the sandalwood. The only complaint I would have, is that the container is quite thin. I think a thicker tin would work better with those who have thick fingers.

balm is great, sandalwood smells nice, keeps beard conditioned well. wish the smell lasted a bit longer (or perhaps if it were stronger) but this is a solid balm and my go-to. 4 stars. BUT. -1 for the packaging. it used to be the small thick type- perfect for travel, easy to open. now it’s a wide thin tin, bulky for a small dop kit, v hard to open and close (so much so i just leave it open) and i have often considerd literally melting this down and pouring it into an old tin. would love to see them go back to the old format.

The texture is a soft, waxy solid as one would expect. Do not anticipate the product to provide hold; rather, it will moisturize and relax the hair. The fragrance is light and pleasant, resembling a cross between baby powder and cocoa butter. I read several reviews indicating the top was difficult to remove, so I believe it should be noted this comes with a screw-on cap and is not intended to be popped or pried off.

Highly recommend! Keeps my beard smelling fresh, and my skin moistuized! No more itching!!!! It smells great!

Smells great and easy to apply.

I've tried a few different beard balms in the past, and this Viking Revolution Natural Beard Balm in Sandalwood stands out as one of the best. What immediately impressed me is that it's not greasy at all, unlike some other brands I've used. It absorbs nicely into my beard without leaving a heavy, oily residue, which is a huge plus for me. A little bit of this balm truly goes a long way. I find only need a small amount to get excellent results, which means this tin will last me for a good while. It helps to tame my beard, reduce flyaways, and gives it a healthy, well-groomed look without feeling stiff or sticky. The Sandalwood scent is also fantastic it's natural, masculine, and not Overpowering. If you're looking for a high-quality beard balm that provides great hold and conditioning without the greasiness, I highly recommend giving this Viking Revolution one a try!
