Braun Clean & Renew Refill Cartridges CCR, Replacement Shaver Cleaner Liquid Solution for Clean&Charge System, Pack of 10

I have tried the ‘make it yourself’ formulas, the off brands that claim to be just as good only cheaper, and now I am back to the Braun OEM product. I am so happy with the results after my very first use. The razor is much cleaner and even the cleaner bowl is cleaner. The shape is a little different so some dumba** tried to put it in backwards, but said ‘da’ figured it out. My shaver smells nicer and is cleaner. The price was reasonable for such a quality product. I recommend it. It is an expensive razor so do the right thing and use quality fluid.

After years of nicking and irritating his face, I purchased the Braun 9 Series electric razor and charger/electronic cleaner. This is BY FAR the best shave option he has ever used! I wish I had known about this when my father was living - my father's razor pulled on whiskers and was extremely painful. This IS NOT! After each shave the electric razor is set, head down into the unit, to charge and clean. The solution is pleasant smelling, is circulated through the head of the razor for cleaning, and lubes the blades and movable parts all at the same time. It cleans very well. The unit is solid and durable! It is one of the most, if not THE MOST, effective razor/shave systems ever! I highly recommend this system!

I’ve owned and used a great many electric razors and the Braun (7) is the best by far. I don’t have a heavy beard, but it does need trimming and I like a close shave. The best thing about the razor, apart from the quality shave, is that you don’t need to clean it. Pop it in the charger, press a button (if the charger indicates a clean is warranted), and there you go. One complaint about the refills in this pack: they have changed the design somewhat of the cartridges since I last bought a set. The new design fits in the charger no problem, but I am finding that I go through the cartridges quite a bit more often than I used to. I don’t know if they have less cleaning fluid, or the sensor that triggers a replacement light works differently, but I am certainly swapping out the refills more often. On a different tangent, the fluid in the cartridges is denatured alcohol (ie., not the drinking kind). There is always some left in the cartridge when you have to swap it out and I’ve found that the residual fluid makes a great starter for a camp fire—much better than the usual charcoal starter. Just so you know.
