They probably are properly soaked and rinsed before cooking because they have no bitter taste that other brands do most likely due to the lectins from improper soaking.

These are actually a FULL can of beans!!! What happened to cans of beans, lately they are a third of the way full. Especially the ones Costco carries. It is such a waste of space but Eden beans are always full and never with that nasty syrup. Worth every penny. Thank you for keeping it real Eden!!!

These beans are tasty, sodium free, and in BPA-free cans. Wish Eden Foods made these beans in a carton, like Whole Foods is doing now. But these are much cheaper than Whole Foods', at least when you get them from Amazon. At my local health food store they're pretty pricey.

I ordered this because I liked the idea of organic. but was surprised to see so few beans. When I opened the can, there was a a lot of water. Will not order again.

I trust Eden to take care to produce food products with the utmost care for quality and health. This particular product is my go-to for beans. I recognize beans to be a true miracle food, I consume them twice a day and I am very particular about them. Like all food, fresh prepared is the gold standard, and on most days, I eat them home cooked. However, eating them so often, it is nice to take a break sometimes. These kidney beans have a wonderful home cooked flavor and texture that doesn't leave me feeling I have compromised my meal quality, they are great!
