Excellent Water Bottle
Excellent LifeStraw water bottle! We bought 2 of these for our monthlong trip to the South Pacific. Didn’t want to take any chances on the drinking water. The 24 oz stainless steel bottle is a little heavy & doesn’t fit in your standard size cup holder in a car. However, I believe that the smaller size would fit. Some reviews mentioned that it was somewhat difficult to sip through the straw. I haven’t found that to be the case. The handle is comfortable in design & easy to carry. High quality design & construction. I would highly recommend this water bottle.

Great taste
You have to really sip to get the water, which makes sense since there is a filter. Water taste great!

Effective
It’s heavy to lift but keeps water at good temperature and filter works well. I think the water tastes slightly better when I use my glass Life Straw pitcher though. I got this on sale so it was a good value.

USED Water bottle
Bought this specifically for a trip to Mexico, imagine my surprise to open it up to find it wet inside. Clearly it has been used. Ewww. Who knows how long it has sat in the warehouse wet, growing who knows what in the filter. Thought I would order again and the price has increased $10+, pass!

Obsessed is an understatement
I have been using LifeStraw water bottles for over a year and a half at this point and I will never go back. I was so excited to see that they launched a stainless steel version.I love the handle - it's so comfortable and easy to carry. I also love that the handle unscrews and acts as the cap. I prefer the screw top to the flip up and down on the plastic version. The straw is perfect, as always. Most importantly, it actually keeps the water cold. I tested this by leaving by water bottle in my hot car. It was 88 degrees outside, and I left the water bottle in the car for about 45 minutes. Normally, my plastic bottle would be heated through, but the water was still pretty cold when I returned. It wasn't ice cold, but it was more than drinkable.I have to purchase another already because my partner keeps trying to steal mine.

Almost impossible to drink
You need about 25psi of suction to get anything through this water filter. It is serious work getting a drink from it.

Way better than the blue plastic one
I originally bought one of the blue plastic Go bottles. I've gone thru 3 because I tend to drop them for sone reason, or leave on top of my car when heading to work. The plastic spout floppy thing broke off easily. So I bit the bullet and got one of this version even though they cost more. This thing is SOLID, the handle is much better. I do have to go thru the enormous struggle of unscrewing the cap to access the sucky spout... That's a joke FYI. The old version the sucky spout flipped up and wasn't covered. This version feels more sanitary I guess, and I appreciate that aspect. Not a germaphobe but if I was, I choose this one.

Doesn't fix the water flavor in Brazil
My son took this to São Paulo, Brazil, where he's living for a few years. While I'm glad it's filtering the water for him, he at first thought it was broken, cause he says the water tastes like . . . mold. He tried water from the tap one day and it tasted the same. As this is supposed to help with the flavor, I was quite bummed to hear that the water still tastes weird. I'm gonna trust that it's at least doing its job to filter out things that might make him sick.
