Disappointed
Having read reviews I thought that this might be a useful upgrade to my home network, however:Amazon supplied a device with an American plug? No adapter etc included, then to top it off, lowered the price by £7So I have sent it back for a full refund, why in this day and age an item is supplied without the required plug is disappointing. And lowering the price a day or so later? No comment!I have marked the USG as a 4 star, without testing it, this is due to the build quality which looks and feels cheap, it certainly does not feel or look very robust. The 900 page manual is available from Zyxel as a download ( a printed copy is not supplied with router) and unlike the more common routers, or the Cisco RVS4000 and ASUS NT-56, setup does not look very straightforward at all. The "Security features" require a subscription to two software sites, which are relatively expensive and unlike my RVS4000 there is no hardware/software Intruder Prevention System. There is a good review of this router on smallnetbuilder just google for more.I hope that my few words help you in your decision.

Great router/firewall, lots of features. Could do better: traffic stats, cellular support and logging
Good, feature-packed firewall/router. Multiple LANs and cellular backup for the WAN are great. Management interface is pretty decent although some things are less than obvious and require too much clicking around - e.g., fixing addresses for DHCP clients. The traffic stats aren't very good, could do with cumulative traffic over a period of my choosing to monitor likelyhood of ISP throttling on broadband and bandwidth usage on cellular.Seems to have a few problems with re-connecting via our Virgin Media box (in modem mode) after a power outage.Logging is a bit of a pain, seems to fill up with very few entries and then email the thing to you, resulting in 20+ log emails daily when I'd like one big one, once a week. Trying it with some USB memory now to see if that changes its appetite.Zyxel support are generally fairly responsive, although can take more than one go to get the point. User forums are moderately active but anything a bit off the basics seems not to get any responses!

Don't Buy this
I purchased this Wireless Firewall for my office. It worked fine for a couple of months until I upgraded the Firmware. The Wireless Network began to drop constantly. I checked on the Zyxel forum and this turned out to be a bug that had been introduced. This was June 2018. They have only now (Feb 2019) released a firmware update that is supposed to have fixed the issue but , guess what, it hasn't. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE.
