My dog gets these as a special treat. She is a growing pup - 9 months & 50#s. I think she'd recommend these to humans who really love their dogs. And maybe she'd explain that when she's on her best behavior, these might be a great special reward. Besides, they sure seem to taste better than the Persian carpet!!!

I have purchased this item 4x previous with no problem. This time ghost ants were crawling everywhere, inside and outside the package and on top of other Amazon products I purchased in the Amazon box. Unfortunately they are my dogs favorite treat. I say unfortunately because they are rather pricey, about $30 for 8 bully sticks. ($3.75 stick and he finishes it in one day so I given them every other day.) He even likes these much better than the curly ones he used to love from same company. Anyway, Amazon gave me a refund since the company does not give refunds on damaged products and I just re-ordered. Hopefully the next package will be ant free.

My 13 pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel chewed and ate one of these in 40 minutes. I supervised and it was actually a bit scary at times, like when she bit down on it and it shattered smaller pieces off, it sounded like her teeth were breaking. I was really nervous about her eating those smaller pieces - but she would not let me take them from her and she did seem to be chewing them before she swallowed. So she obviously loved these, but for me, because of the cost, I really expected these to last longer., I don't know, is 40 minutes "long lasting"? We'll see how digestible they are...seems like the pieces didn't soften as she was chewing. Considering what these are (beef tripe and penis) I don't know why they are so expensive!

We've given bully sticks to our dogs for years. Our usual brand kept running out of stock in subscribe and save, so I started buying these as backup. They're thicker than our other brand and braided. Our dogs are rather aggressive chewers, and these last 10-15 minutes.

My dog LOVES these and one keeps her busy for days. Likes them even more than regular bully sticks. More flavorful. A must have chew to keep your pooch occupied. No more furniture destruction. Yeah! 😁👍👍
