This book is one of the most beautiful I have come across! And not just that, the content is lovely & talks about the Parisian/French mentality of slowing down to live better, contains little interviews, speaks about being a ‘flaneur’, elegance, beauty & self care. It puts me in a fabulous mood every time I read a bit of it, I just love it!

Even more than I was expecting

I love books about Paris, having been fortunate enough to visit the city twice. Reading a book about this amazing city, written by someone who looks like me and feels the same way, lifted my enjoyment 100-fold. Ajiri Aki's matter-of-fact enjoyment of life in Paris made Joie such a joy to savour.
