Kwikset is the leader in quality less expensive doorknobs. They are not super cheap, but they work well, maintain their finish when taken care of and have that classic simple look. This is no different. It locks well and easily while easily unlocking with its simplistic key or small flat head screwdriver. It is durable enough to makes for a great lock on a bathroom door or for keeping smaller children out of a closet. It is the perfect simple 1st line of security for non-critical areas. It fits standard openings quite well and is easy to grip.

Good replacements, easy to install

Just thought a house so we’re on a budget. The previous owner did not do the doors well so I needed to replace a few. Installation took 5-10 minutes including opening the box. The lock fits well and turns smoothly. I would use a hand screw driver personally to not strip the screws. Great value for the money and solid quality particularly at the price. We need a few more so will buy again.

Our house was built in the late 1980’s and apparently this color isn’t carried in stores in my area anymore. Was easy enough for me to install and I’m not a DIY by nature. Kwikset is ok quality for my purposes.
