Great product

No good for snow globes.
Looks nice but not for snow globes. It floats to the surface and is very light.

Okay, but not best
The shredded plastic was good for my use, but there were larger plastic pieces that just looked like wrapper garbage and some hard chunks of the plastic flakes melted together. There is no sparkle or iridescence either.

NOT FOR SNOW GLOBES
Do not use this for snow globes with water, alcohol, and glycerine! It looks like a mushy mess and it floats to the top. One person in the Q&A section said not to use it for snow globes, but I didn't see that comment until after I tried it. I found some regular glitter and I'm probably going to end up using that instead even though it isn't exactly the look I'm going for. If you are using this *dry*, it looks great!! It looks just like the pictures in the product description.

Perfect "snow" for all my Christmas projects!
The "snow" seems to be pieces of plastic but it does give the appearance of tiny, icy flakes! It really does sparkle as light hits the particles! I'm using this product to fill glass and plastic ornaments. Although the package is smaller than I first thought (description does say 2 ounces), it should be enough for me to complete my Christmas decorations and gifts this year! I bought another brand of snow when I got this one and it was also perfect for my decorations! However, due to my sensitivity to that product, I will create my projects with the Sparkling Snow because of its comparable desired effect and I can do so without experiencing any irritation!
