Benross Mi Stuff Gadget 43360 5-in-1 Function Wireless On-Ear Headphones - White

To be honest I wasn't expecting wireless over the head headphones for a tenner to be great, but the further addition of "5in 1" functionality that serves little practical use just stretched the budget further. For the record, on top of wireless and wired headphones (the ability to use with a wire if the battery runs out is a nice touch, but if you want wired headphones, a tenner will give you better options) there is an FM radio and a pointless mic in the transmitter so that they can call it a baby monitor and pc communications headset. Again for a comms headset you have better options.The headline use is poor, less than 2 metres away, the signal breaks up. It's clearly using oldscholl radio, a shame as some cheap Bluetooth headphones I bought were perfectly clear at much better range. If you can't sit 3 metres from the TV/hifi without the sound struggling, you probably could just use a wired headset. The transmitter has an audio jack and av audio, but the AV only has the red lead, not the white, so you only get one channel of sterio audio. This is a shame because an AV out could be left connected, wheras using a headphone jack in a TV is likely to cut sound to the speakers when not in use. That said, AV outs arn't so common in TVs these days.Very little to recommend here. No good for the intended use, which was to use the TV at night without disturbing the wife and kids, even though I sit not much more than 3 metres away on the furthest chair.
