LykkeDriftwood Circular Knitting Needles 24 inch - Size 6

I really like these needles. They are neither slick or draggy, the right texture. The join is smooth, give them a try, the won't disappoint.

Lykke driftwood needles are great. I also bought a set of interchangeable needles that I love. Lightweight, warm and easy on the hands. Good points and not a lot of drag to slow you down. If I could change anything it would be the cable, I like a more flexible cable like the Chia Goo red cable.

Let me first say, I love gadgets whether they are technology, kitchen or even knitting. If it is a popular item, I usually am a follower. Yes, I’m also a groupie.I’ve been looking for a good wooden knitting needle to invest in an interchangeable set and thought I would give Lykke a try for a shawl I’m knitting on Urth wool yarns. After all, they seem to be well received.Unlike their name, I’m not finding them a happy knitting experience. For a wooden needle, they are really slippery with wool. With my fingerling yarn, I’m having a difficult time keeping tension, even though this wasn’t a problem on my wood dpns that I had to start with. Also, because of the tension issues, the yarn keeps slipping around my stitch marker (yo’s before the stitch marker). His is happening consistently.Even though I would prefer knitting my current project on a wood needle, I’ve switched to one of my Karbonz and noticed my tension is back to normal and my yo’s are not slipping over the stitch marker.I really wanted to like these this needle but I’m not seeing the hype. They knit like a metal needle but I prefer my addis, ChiaGoos, and Karbonz. They definitely don’t compare to the addi Olive wood needles I’ve used.

These are my absolute favorite knitting needles. They have the warmth and softness of wood with the smoothness of metal. I'm slowly buying some in each size. The cord is on the stiff side, but that hasn't bothered me.
