My Cinetic Big Ball Sucks! (In a good way!)
I've had my Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Upright Vacuum for about 7 years now. I didn't see the toothpick under the edge of the coffee table, but it pierced the side of this internal hose. I tried to patch the hole with some glue, but the suction just wasn't the same. I ordered this new hose and watched a video on how to install it (on a similar upright Dyson). I still had a little trouble getting the new hose through, but eventually got it. Turns out, the internal hose had also been stabbed by a bobby pin on the backside! No wonder the suction just wasn't the same. Now that the new hose is installed, it sucks again! Vacuums are supposed to suck!

Fit ok
Exact replacement for original but does not come with new gasket. Gasket is a foam rubber with sticky tape on one side. Suction loss without gasket because there is a big gap.

My hose had worn to the point there was a hole. This was easy to replace and didn't cost much. It works great again.
