Ultra-thin Replacement Waterproof Silicone Rubber Watch Strap Watch Band for Swatch Skin Series

This strap is paper thin but very stretchy so if worn carefully it can be an ok substitute for a Swatch strap.I got this to essentially be a temporary strap while I either deep clean the bracelet of my new, but used, swatch or find a new metal one (I’ve included a picture of my previous metal bracelet).The strap has no holes punched out and the buckle is too flimsy to poke through the hole so it’s just like a latex covering over the Phalic prong in the buckle.The only thing that makes this remotely worthwhile is that it’s comfortable and stretchy enough that I feel as though normal wear will not rip and send my Swatch crashing to the floor.

I just received my replacement watch band just a few minutes ago. I was thrilled about having it so I could swap the one out on my vintage Swatch watch. I go to put the buckle end on and there is a very crucial part missing in order to keep the watch from falling off. Really? Is it that hard to put a watch band together. Bought to replace 16mm "Gent" size band for a swatch. It is thinner and more flexible. Had to punch out extra silicone in all the holes on the band which was not hard but tedious. Comes with a tool to replace the pins and that is quite easy once the band is lined up.

The wristband has a good fit to Swatch "skin" watches, However, the matte finish is very different from the original glossy finish, You get a durable silicone strap instead. What you still need to do is finish to punch out the strap holes and you are done.

I have purchased a few replacement Swatch straps before and the quality of this translucent silicone is by far the worst of them all, it feels paper thin and I know I will be replacing it soon as it breaks. Some of the acrylic pieces arent smooth and scratch wrist. The holes for the straps were not fully punched out either. Shipped fast but quality is poor.

I ordered this as a replacement for the original Swatch band which had worn out. At first, everything looked good. The band was very similar in looks to the original and came with a nifty installation tool that made the process of replacement easier. However, after putting the watch on and going about a normal day at work, the portion of the new band that I would describe as the "buckle" that attaches with a metal tension rod just came off of the band itself, which of course sent the watch flying. I was able to salvage the pieces and try again, but it came apart again a short while later. I've stopped using the watch at this point for fear of losing the whole thing.
