Great for bookcase door
Worked great. Make sure top jamb is wide enough for this hinge. Instructions were not as clear as they could have been.

Solid device, does what it needs to
These worked well for me. You really have to plan the install, I recommend cutting a paper template the fits the door location.

Work as advertised.
Solid construction. Used them for hidden bookcase doorway. Do require some DIY skills and patience when installing. Installation instructions were of limited assistance.

Great quality and strong!
I was putting up large 4x8 ft acoustic panels and needed one panel to pivot to allow access to a closet behind the panel. This hinge worked like a charm. Very strong, high quality hinge.

Accurate and tight measurements needed
The hinges work great, they come with templates to help you draw it out and some instructions mainly designed to install regular width doors. The install is not beginner friendly as precise location and measurements are needed for it to work on a bookshelf door. One of the biggest difficulties installing this was that the screw wich moves the pin up and down moves up and down itself and gets in the way when trying to fit the door in location. They need to make it to where the screw stays flush when pushing the pin up so it doesn't interefere.

I used these to build a murphy bookcase door for my sister's new house. It worked very well. She really likes it. But not as much as her grandson does. He plays with it every time he is there.

Metal quality as expected, but one component was bent. Also was a returned item.
The packaging is very cheap. The item quality was totally as expected for the price BUT mine was a return. The box was open on one end (literally). One of the components was not in a sealed bag like the others. The unsealed component was bent. YMMV but be aware. Could I have straightened the bend? Likely, but why? This is likely why the last person returned it, they saw the bend when they took it out of the bag. I had to return it. I hope you don't get it next.
