Great/Excellent product
Can not fault Fissler especially the Pro range, you get what you pay for, have been using Fissler for about 15 years and have never had a problem. They are expensive but as I stated above you only get what you pay for.

Perfect for the serious chef
For your (not inconsiderable) money, you get the stainless main pot with handles, a steamer insert with handles and a lid which will fit either, also with handle. With the steamer piece inserted, there's maybe 5cm of water underneath. The steamer doesn't rest on the bottom of the pot, it sit on the top rim. Fit of all pieces is perfect.Potential uses by the domestic cook would be cooking pasta in the pot or any number of one-pot recipes, maybe in bulk to then freeze in portions. Because of the thickness of the metal, it can be left on a low heat to evenly simmer. I did think it odd there's no steam vent in the lid but in use the steam can escape without the lid 'chattering'; I guess the weight means a slight pressure-cooking effect? With the steamer insert, this could be used for blanching fresh veg before freezing. The insert makes it simple to plunge veg into the boiling water for a couple of minutes then lift out into iced-water. For a gardener who has a surplus of veg, this is the best way of preserving in a large freezer.ProsImmaculate finishPerfect fit to steamer and lidLarge handles make it easy to liftThick steel retains heat for blanchingConsIt's heavy!Hard to find a place to store in most kitchensTakes a while to come to boilAll in all, it's hard to think you'd find kitchen equipment with a better build quality and finish. You pay, you get.

Fantastic quality pot
High quality German engineered steel pot. Feels incredibly well made. Spreads heat evenly and is a good size (6L). Comes with a strainer section. Feels like it should last a longtime and comes with a 10 year warranty. Highly recommended

Remarkable Quality
If you're serious about cooking then this Fissler Multi Star set is for you.It is amazing quality but then again at this price it should be. Pasta is a favourite in our house and my wife - and I - have used this a few times and it makes cooking a joy. For your money you get top quality stainless steel cookware; 20cm pot with lid, plus a steamer insert, the lid fits both the main pot and the steamer. If you take the steamer out you can cook soups, put the steamer insert in and you can steam your vegetables. The cookware was in perfect condition, no dents or any blemishes or imperfections whatsoever. A remarkable, high quality cook set.

Great quality pot
A very high quality, heavy weight, and adaptable pan - perfect for any kitchen. The pan is super strong and can hold 6 litres. The large capacity would make it ideal for large one pot dishes. There is an insert which would work well for steaming. The insert is also well made and fits snugly into the rim of the main pan. It works on any hob type so should last a lifetime.

Superb cookwear, expensive but top quality.
Struggling to review this cooking pot, it's brilliant but very expensive. It's clearly a superb piece of kit but whether it's worth £200 is up to the purchaser. I only say that because we have an IKEA one that is 25 years old and cost a quarter of this one. So it really needs to last a last time to justify the cost for me.But if you are willing to pay the price you will be delighted with the quality of this item, great handles that stay cool and a huge inner makes pasta cooking easy and efficient .As a steamer it's good but the water reservoir isn't huge at the bottom so you may need to top it up depending on what you're cooking.Quality costs and this is certainly a quality item.

Solid and worth every penny
I am looking to replace all my so-so cookware with non-coated, non-toxic options that will last. I expect to never need another one of these.Very high quality and attractive construction that looks indestructible with normal kitchen usage. I expect this will look just as good in 10, 20, 30 years and beyond. The pot heats evenly and retains heat for a very long time. After draining pasta, I've let the water sit for several hours before cleaning, and it was still warm to the touch. The handles on the sides and lid do not get hot, and it works perfectly for things like spaghetti. I've never lost a single noodle when pulling out the insert for draining.Very easy to clean.Perfect size for a 16oz packet of pasta and spaghetti cook evenly. There are tick marks inside, so you now how many liters of liquid are there.Ticks all the boxes for me. Rather than buying low- or mid-range cookware that wears out and needs to be replaced every few years, I'd rather spend (a lot) more, and be done. Also, I am becoming more and more eco-conscious with things that don't last and just end up in the landfill eventually. The cheap stuff is part of the problem. If you can afford it, get this.

Fissler Multitopf Original Profi Collection® multi-star, 20 cm, 6 l
