M1100 - Best Bluetooth headset you can get!!
The phone: Motorola Droid Razr (first model)I'll give the summary first in case that's all some want to see. I gave this earpiece 5 stars only because I could not give it 6.M1100 PROS: Unmatched voice clarity on both ends from my experiences. Very good battery life. (We always want more, but we have to be realistic, right?) Excellent noise cancellation. Very lightweight. I don't know if I should use the word "perfect" but I think it may be close.M1100 Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE AT THIS TIME AND DON'T FORESEE ANY.The bottom line is the M1100 is a FANTASTIC earpiece!! As a matter of fact, when I'm done with this review, I'll be ordering another one or two to have as a spares. (I also like the Discovery 975 for its features. I purchased it at the same time as this one & will leave my impression on it as well. VERY good earpiece, too)I've tried many earpieces over the years...Blueant, Motorola, Plantronics (previous models), Jawbone & Bose. Most recently I had settled on the Jawbone brand because it had decent noise cancellation. The gripe I always had about them was their call quality was very muddy & distorted. It didn't seem to matter if it were male or female voice, I found myself asking people to repeat themselves because I just couldn't make out what they were saying a good portion of the time. The last Jawbone I had was the ERA & the one before the ICON. I would not trade 10 of those for the M1100!My first reaction when I put it on my ear was, "Wow, this thing is really lightweight." It is barely noticeable compared to the ERA. One thing that stands out on this earpiece compared to others I've used is when on a call, you can hear your own voice through the earpiece which helps me keep my voice at a conversation level. Have you ever noticed some people almost shout into their cell phones? It's because they can't hear their own voice in the speaker so they think the person on the other end can't hear them either. It's nature. But because you can hear your own voice in THIS earpiece it's like talking on a normal land line telephone. You can talk to the person in a normal, relaxed tone of voice & not involve someone down the hall or in the next room in your conversation.I also like the feature of being able to answer or decline a call with your voice. There are times when using your hands isn't feasible...perhaps if you've just washed them or you're preparing a meal for dinner? You can just say "answer" when prompted & you're connected. It gives true meaning to the term "Hands Free".This earpiece also connects the call very quickly. Many others have had a delay of as much as 2-3 seconds before you can actually talk to the other person. This one is less than a second so it's very quick to connect you with the person on the other end.So far, the battery life is excellent. My Jawbone ERA would run no more than 4 hours of talk time, but this M1100 will reach that & a little more. I wouldn't want to say it will reach 5 hours of talk time, but it doesn't stop at 4 either. The WORST earpiece I've ever had for battery life is the Bose. OMG! HORRID! I don't want to call that earpiece of piece of crap, but it's VERY close! Call quality on it was OK, but not as good as the Plantronics M1100 or Discovery 975. I saw some call quality ratings from different sites saying how good the Bose which is why I tried one. Even though it better than the Jawbone ERA, it's not as good as the Plantronics. But the worst thing about the Bose battery life. UNFORGIVABLE! I could not get 2 hours of talk time out of it. 1 hour 53 minutes was the best I ever got! I even warrantied it thinking there was a problem, but no difference. Bose claims 4-5 hours of talk time but when talking with a rep he stated it was rated with an iPhone. So iPhone users, you may have better luck. Droid users...save your money! Buy the M1100 for about $90 less & have a much better experience.

On/Off Slider SO Nice, Stays Put in my Ear...
Quick Summary: This headset is proving to be unobtrusive, comfortable, and simple. It stays put in my ear without using the ear loop. Outbound voice quality is excellent. There's a little more static than I'm used to on inbound voice quality. I'm in love with the quick-to-use sliding on/off switch. Standby time seems to match Plantronics specs. The M1100 is my first in-ear without a loop. I purchased this planning on using the included loop, but after I installed the larger of the three included gel inserts, to my pleasure, this thing stays put. It doesn't droop, it doesn't fall out, and it doesn't shake when I walk. What did surprise me is the "mic boom" has a rubber pad that (I figure) is designed to rest against my face, not "float" above my skin as the Plantronics photo of the woman in the white shirt would suggest. There is, in fact, a mic in this boom, but it points back toward the ear. Weird. The sliding on/off switch was my next hurrah moment. I glossed over this in the product description, but at first use I realized that all those years of uncomfortably squeezing my Motorola H375 's miniature power button and waiting for the blue light to see if it powered up -- they were finally over! Upon sliding the M1100's switch on, I am greeted with a reassuring voice telling me how much talk time is remaining.Pairing was as easy with my BlackBerry as with any other Bluetooth device. It's been hitch-free ever since. Range is good enough that the headset doesn't disconnect unless I'm more than two room away at work (and one of those rooms is very large -- we're talking about 50 feet total), though I can't actually hold a static-free conversation at that distance, I'll at least know if I have an incoming call if I've left my phone at my desk.Comfort is great. I can wear this headset for 8 hours at a time and it barely phases me. Though more often than not, I'll keep it in my shirt pocket since it's so compact.I use my Blackberry's built-in voice dialing often, and two quick presses of the forward button (nicely marked with a small raised dot) will get me to the voice dial menu. I haven't used the voice dial system Plantronics offers with this headset, so no comments in that respect. The single volume button is OK. I'm more likely to use my phone's volume rocker due to the finer control it offers. The headset's single buttons cycle through four volume settings (plus mute, if held down). I guess, for simplicity, one button is easier than two, but for whatever illogical reason I still find this an annoyance.I'm pretty sure I've detected a bit of static on incoming calls, but I'm not sure if it's the headset to blame, or my phone's Bluetooth, or my distance from the nearest Verizon tower. I normally use various built-in and visor-mounted speakerphones, so it's possible I'm hearing static on this headset that I otherwise miss on the speakerphones due to the great "piped-in" call clarity of the M1100.On the other hand, my outgoing voice is crisp and clean. I've not only asked a few of my recipients when I was first feeling this headset out, but I actually called my own landline voicemail and talked to myself in a variety of conditions, including walking, in noisy environments (and parts of my workplace are NOISY!), in the vehicle while driving, and even with the radio on. I'm very impressed that this headset does such a good job of scrubbing away a lot of the background noise and really focusing on my voice. All around, this is a great headset. I'm totally happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Plantronics M1100 nice, but not perfect.
The Plantronics Savor M1100 Bluetooth Headset has excellent sound and gives no trouble connecting to my LG phone. There are advantages and disadvantages to it not fitting entirely in your ear. It fits partially in the ear, but not inserted in the ear canal like an ear bud. Because of this, the soft flexible silicone part is more robust and less easily damaged or lost, but it can also lead to some echoes in sound quality for the person you call. The price was great for this high quality device. I find the buttons easy to work. I am a bit disappointed that the voice commands, without downloading and extra app (for which I have no more memory), are so limited. Why is there not a voice command for "Call", when there IS one for "Redial"? So, I am pretty happy with it, but still searching for the 'perfect' Bluetooth headset.Bill

Ist gut aber man braucht es heute nicht mehr bei dieser Technik. Für Unterwegs hatte es seine Schuldigkeit getan. Danke

Not bad
I've tried a lot of Bluetooth because I have hearing problems especially with low sounds. With this Bluetooth I can hear with the windows down, but only if I don't drive too fast. The sound is not as clear as expected. Sometimes I hear some "clack" in my ear while talking. But you can put the volume pretty high. I wear it many hours because of my job, and , even if I normally cannot wear them more than 1 or 2 hours, I even forget it sometimes. So in all it's not a bad choice, but it's not perfect.

Bluetooth earpiece
I find that this works really well with my HTC One X as it did with previous phones. It is very clear and I can be heard clearly also. It is so light and comfortable that it is hardly noticeable to wear for hours on end.The charge seems to last for a very long time and if left switched off for periods of time it still seems to hold its charge. It has very handy voice commands and if you like it will read out your text messages which is only good if your contacts compose properly written texts without those awful abbreviations! It's a well made, comfortable and lightweight bluetooth earpiece.

Lorsqu'il y a du vent à l'extérieur les gens ne nous attendre par correctement et cela prend un certain temps pour s'habituer à notre oreille lorsque l'on porte cette appareil plus de 8hrs consécutif.
