S&W Shield Grip Extension 9mm/.40 Cal - M&P Shield Grip Extension Will Enhance The Control and Comfort of Your Firearm (Pack of 2)

READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BUYING!!!!!! Ordered these on a Monday. Received them on Wednesday. Slapped them on the stock 7 round and 8 round magazines. Fit perfect. Great product. Easy to install. What many of these 1 and 2 star reviews are saying is that they do not fit. Either the m&p 9mm or shield EZ or shield plus. Well no crap. It says they are for the m&p shield 9 and 40 caliber, which use the same mag design. Those other guns listed have completely different magazine designs. Usually double stack mags. So do not be fooled.

Everything I said about this purchase is correct, excellent product, easy to install, excellent value for the money, and they will create the comfort fit you have been looking for. Unfortunately they would not fit my S&W 9mm EZ. They filled the order exactly as as I request and sent the product out immediately.

The installation is quite easy and fast, however the design has a severe problem unknown to the person using these that its puts undue pressure on the magazine release when used on the 7 round magazines. Most will buy these as a inexpensive way to add extra needed grip to those short 7 rounders. However the mag-released are not built to withstand upwards force to the locking mechanism. This could cause the magazine to fail to eject and possibly creating a very unsafe situation where a magazine could have life ammo and it can not be removed. Great idea I am going to see if I can trim them to work but most wont be aware and would just use them. Being the product could potently damage the firearms one can only give one star.

Fit perfectly on both 7 round and extended magazines. Don't know what issue one person had with the 7 rnd mag but there is no "undue" pressure exerted on my mag release. First gen 9mm S&W Shield. I definately like the more secure feeling these give to the weapon, I have the same ones on my Shield 40. As others have said, be careful not to let the mag spring get away from you when changing these!

Using on my 9mm M&P Shield, I ordered 2 packs for my 8 round mags, unfortunately It must really be meant for the 7 round mag as the 8 round mag would not seat with the spacer that comes with the 8 round mag attached. It was a easy fix though, I just placed a piece of sand paper on the table and used pressure to sand off about a 1/16 or more of an inch. after sanding it seats perfectly, and I am very happy with the extra extension given and it fits perfectly after a little sanding. If you have to do this I recommend using the method I did and not use the sand paper in your hand as it will not evenly sand it flat and it will leave a hilly look when attached.

Overall excellent product, fits nicely and allows for a full grip on the small shield 9 frame. FYI, these fit factory s&w mag end plates. If you're trying to fit these on ProMag 7rd they will need 2 holes drilled. 6.48mm from the back and 17.42mm center to center did the trick. They retain on the ProMag just as well as factory mags.

Read the description carefully I have the shield plus and these do not fit. It’s my fault the description clearly says they don’t fit the shield plus. They look like a quality product
