Great quality yet will knock you out with the smell every time you open the bottle. Prepare your senses for an overwhelming aroma of hot garbage otherwise the vitamin works as expected.

Warning: the sulfur like smell will knock you back the first couple times you open it. You’ll get fairly used to it quick though. According to my Google research though, a potent smelling NAC is a sign of GOOD quality NAC. The way I take my capsules with water first, you can’t really taste it at all. Fairly easy for me to swallow but a little challenging for my 11 year old. Doesn’t bother our stomachs at all. Works wonderfully. Was sick recently and this had me clearing up so much mucus and feeling better in less than 24 hours.

Love this stuff. I feel like since using this product my feet tingling is extremely lower. A good buy for the money. Never upset my stomach, did not interrupt my sleep or mood. I find them easy to swallow and not too sure on how long it last but I take every day. Will buy again.

I am on my 3rd bottle of this NAC. I picked this brand because I trust the quality and safety. Price was reasonable for the quality of product and easily comparable to picking it up mass market or in a drug store. Especially for this brand. YES THIS STUFF SMELLS AWFUL. Like awful, awful. But that strong sulfur smell is a actually a sign that this product is what it says it is: good, high quality NAC. No unnecessary added ingredients, chemicals, or sugar. Tips: Try to take it with a flavored beverage. Don’t breathe in when you open and take it. If you don’t smell it, you don’t really taste it. And start low, go slow. Not everybody can tolerate everything. The pills are semi-large, so keep that in mind. I struggle swallowing sometimes though and have had no problem getting them down.

I am going to give it 5 stars even if I can't tell you that it works. Like everyone said in the reviews, it smells like sulfur and tastes like sulfur. I thought I would be able to get past it and just choke the taste down with a large gulp of OJ or some flavored beverage to mask the taste, but my brain told me "You better think twice about that thought." and after about a week, I gave up. I read reviews on others and apparently they all will taste that way so it is nothing on Mary Ruth's. I gave 5 stars because I have used many other Mary Ruth's and all have worked so no reason these should not work. I just can't get past the flavor and smell.
