This manga series doesn't have the most straightforward story. It needs your full attention toward all dialogue and visual details in order to comprehend the plot. The final volume can be daunting if you haven't kept up with information from past volumes. Even if you have, it can still be a challenge. I fall in the latter and I had to read this volume a few times before I started to have a semblance of understanding. This comprehension barrier does knock it down a star for me but that's not taking anything away from Nihei's incredible art and bleakly beautiful world. Still highly recommend this to all manga readers.

Great ending to a great series, even though it leaves a whole lot open to interpretation. The art still blows me away, and is some of the most unique architecture I've ever seen. I don't read any manga, and very few graphic novels, but this is one series I've fallen for and I bought all of the new reprints.

I love this manga, the movie was alright but did its job. To make interested in original source and have no regrets buying all the books. Honestly one of the best scifi materials out there

The Books are bigger than your average series, almost as if it's the original draft of the manga. Would definitely recommend to any fan

what???this felt like it went off in such a weird direction? the net terminal gene was barely mentioned, even though that’s been a massive part of the plot up until now.i wasn’t really anticipating answers to many of my questions, and i was definitely expecting to be left with plenty, but wow that was unsatisfying. i still loved the art (all stars given are for the art) but this volume just did not do it for me.

Der Manga ist vom Inhalt her wunderbar. Man muss jedoch den Zeichenstil und das Storytelling mögen.Das gute "aber". Zwar ist die Lieferung wie immer schnell erfolgt, jedoch sah das Paket schon extrem mitgenomen aus und das spiegelt sich leider, wenn zum glück auch nur gering, am Manga wieder. Eselsohren und leichte Beschädigungen am Einband.Wären diese Mängel nicht wären das 5 Sterne von meiner Seite aus.

Es una edición ENORME, de casi 30 cm de alto (eso, desgraciadamente, la hace muy pesada), lastima que el material de las cubiertas es muy delicado para las dimensiones de la edición. También, como es una manga viejo, tiene casi 20 años, pueden ver como ha evolucionado el arte de Tsutomu Nihei, las portadas son totalmente nuevas para que vean mejor el contraste de la evolución de su arte.Si les preocupa no entender lo que sucede en la historia, que eso no los desanime, la historia es casi muda (hay páginas y páginas en las que nadie habla para nada); la comunicación tiende a ser a través de miradas y gestos, así que si no sabes mucho inglés no te tienes que asustar de no entender la historia, la tienes que adivinar prácticamente.
