Saved my cherries!
I planted a cherry sapling last year and this spring it decided to explode with flowers and fruit. Thinking I might get a good harvest I bought this net to keep the squirrels from going to town (there’s a giant pear and hickory nut tree they can nibble instead.) My sapling is about my height (5’8ish? it’s a little taller than me) and this netting had more than enough coverage. I had some problems with ants but tying the cord around the base took care of that. The dark color looked pretty nice too, let in enough light and didn’t cook the leaves or anything (I was worried the dark heat absorption might hurt the tree) overall I was able to get a sizable bowl of cherries and wrapped the net up for next year :)

Not for young trees
I purchased this for a young peach tree growing in my backyard. It’s been there for about 2 yrs and started producing a bunch of fruits but I noticed opossums were coming by at night and munching on the peaches. So I figured maybe this netting would help. It was difficult to fully protect the tree- as I said it’s a young tree so maybe 5-6ft high with weak branches that we had to prop up due to all the weight from the peaches bending them down. So there were areas in which the posts propping up branches couldn’t be covered by this netting, leaving room on the ground for an animal to still climb in. The weight of the netting also added to the weight of the peaches pulling on the branches so it was kinda squished under there and bunching up all the leaves & branches. The critters were still able to get to the peaches.I could see how this net would work with a more sturdy, more established tree though. If your tree looks like the one in the stock photo, with strong branches I can see it going over and being able to fully cinch the net around the trunk.Point is, not for young trees.

Quality Net--worked great!
Zipper worked great, it fit over the tree nicely, and the drawstring at the bottom was great for keeping out birds, bugs and other pests. Our orange tree actually grew nicely and flowered sooner this year because the netting also kept it a decent temperature through our cooler (near ocean) winter temperatures. Will buy the netting again if it dies, but we washed it with warm water and will bring it out next winter to use again. I think it will last quite a few years, so it is a sturdy, quality product!

Works as described.
I purchased this to prevent raccoons from stealing pecans off my tree. This tree bag is sturdy and the large opening, and the draw string made it easier to cover. The long zipper will make it easy to harvest the pecans.
