Works well to connect an Analogue Pocket to the dock.
I'm using this extension cable to connect the Analogue Pocket to the Deck accessory. Let me explain why:I was really surprised at the extremely poor build quality of the Dock's USB connector and the mating interface to the Pocket. It's designed to fail, apparently not incorporating any of the lessons learned from the Switch USB dock connector that came out years prior. Worse, it seems likely the Dock's design would damage the Pocket's USB connector over time. I get the feeling they did not run any automated insertion/removal cycle tests and have no idea what the long term reliability is.I bought this extension cable so I could plug the Pocket into the Dock without straining the Dock's awful USB-C connector. This works great and makes it easy to use the Pocket in docked mode without taking any risks on the connectors. I haven't had any issues with video dropout and the connection has been stable all the time. No issues with audio either.Using this cable I can avoid wear and tear on the Dock's USB connector and keep the Pocket's USB connector safe too. I highly recommend it for that purpose or probably any other case where you want to reduce strain on a sensitive connector.

Tight Fit; Right Length
First of all, this extender looks and feels really well made. The USB-C plug makes a perfectly snug connection with the port in my MacBook Pro which means that peripherals work consistently, unlike some adapter that I have that break the connection if I look at them the wrong way. Finally, I use a laptop stand to raise my computer above desk level and this 7” extender is the perfect length to allow my multi-port adapter to lie flat on the desk instead of dangling in the air. I’m happy!
