Got this when it was on sale to upgrade my 13 cruze so I could play music that wasn't some local radio station that plays the same 10 songs all day. It worked good out of the package and my s23 ultra paired with it no problem.Pro's- Easy to install- Easy to use- phone pairs within 30ish seconds of starting the car and starts playing- Google maps works flawlessly with itCon's- Aux cord it comes with is unshielded and will pick up interference- easily solved by buying a shielded cord at walmart for like $4 - added a inline filter to help even more cost $5 here on amazon.- Brightness settings aren't automatic and you have to manually change it. Easy to do though- Touch screen isn't the most responsive but will work once its warmed up.Overall 8/10 - due to having to buy extra stuff to get it to work right with no buzzing or static. Would buy again if needed.

OK I have an older Honda CRV that does not have CarPlay but after my wife got a new car with it I decided I would want it in my older Honda. I looked all through the Amazon options and everyone of them had good reviews and bad reviews so I decided to pull the trigger on this particular CarPlay screen primarily because it was inexpensive and my thought was if it’s a total bust, then it didn’t matter because I didn’t spend a lot of money for it. However, let me tell you this thing has worked flawlessly. It is far better than I ever expected for the money it offers everything that my wife’s $30,000 car has in its CarPlay device, but it cost me less than $30. The only things that I have found that could be improved, the microphone is not great, and the speaker is not very loud, the FM transmitter sometimes seems to struggle in making a clear connection to my car, which could be due to where I live and interference from other FM signals. I highly recommend this and would not even hesitate buying another one.

Update! Took some time. Maybe it needed a cycle but the machine performs better now. WIFI doesn't drop anymore. Bluetooth hasn't either. Touchscreen feels snappy thanks to the 2GB of Ram. Got the AUX hooked up and sound quality is quite good. CarPlay works well. Can't test Android Auto because I use an iPhone. I'm not upset at it anymore and will give it 4 stars. I still am not impressed at the screen but maybe that's because I'm so used to OLED. The mount is secure, I didn't get any bad shakes. I drive a Mini Cooper and with the Sport Suspension I feel everything. I love that it's USB C. Who doesn't since that's the universal plug! It's a good solid built product! While all of them may look alike this one has a mount that uses screws in the back. It gives it more of a sense that it's going to hold.Specs wise. It's great. Outside of that, not so much. 1600x600 Resolution is laughable. WiFi was hell to use. Kept dropping. Bluetooth was the same. Maybe I got a really bad unit. I'm not sure. Touchscreen when it wanted to work was nice. UI was decent and clean, but you can't mess that up since these are all the same with their own little quirks. Quality is built nicely but I'm sure that could be said for all of them as they all look alike.

I used the aux cable provided instead of connecting via fm radio; so I can’t speak to that. I used the suction cup mount and it worked well, make sure you clean the area and add some moisture to the cup and it’ll attach. I routed the plug to my center console armrest so I could still use the other one to charge my phoneIt has an annoying sound on startup that I can’t seem to turn off, but otherwise it’s been nice to. Use with the map features so I don’t have to look down at my phone all the time, Spotify works well too. For $40 I mean it’s a steal

the product works and was easy to set up but it will not stick to my dash, it just falls right over. I tried contacting support to see what i could do and was told that i could send it back to get a replacement but there isn’t anything wrong with the product itself just doesn’t have a quality way of mounting it.

5*s. I was a skeptic. For the price, I was totally unprepared for the quality of this touchscreen unit. Once installed in my 2006 car and after the initial setup, it automatically goes back to maps and the music I was listening to upon the next vehicle startup.

Worked great at first but as I was setting up I unplugged the power cord and without thinking touched it and it almost gave me a burn. Then I noticed the battery itself was getting hot and it stopped powering on. Also the suction cup didn’t stick to my dash at all, didn’t try the adhesive tape since I’ll be returning anyway.

This an amazing device. I bought the basic 7in $65 device. I now have CarPlay in my 2005 Mini Cooper.My experience: right out of the box, easy to plug in. Power to cigarette lighter. iPhone connected to device via bluetooth. I have an aftermarket Kenwood eXCelon radio. After iPhone connected to device via bluetooth, I connected my iPhone to my car’s radio also via bluetooth. The CarPlay device remained connected to my phone.I also tried connecting my iPhone to my radio via USB cable like I’m used to (I like to charge my phone in the car). The CarPlay device remained connected to my iPhone via bluetooth.When I turn my car on/off, the device turns on/off and connects to my iPhone automatically.Great purchase! I am a happy camper. I hope this helps you decide to buy it.
