Oypla 240V AC & 12V DC Coolbox Hot Cold Portable Electric Picnic Box

I took this box to a hotel for 5 days which had no fridge. Plugged it in and It kept beer, soft drinks, cold meats milk etc nice and cool. It worked even better with some ice packs added. I also took it in the car for a whole day and didn't bother plugging it in. The contents were still nice and cool. Very happy with this box considering it's price. I noticed a couple of negative reviews from others. I have no idea what they're whining about lol. Do they expect a FRIDGE for £44?? It's NOT a FRIDGE !! Also, there was no condensation in mine hardly, so I've no idea why someone else said there was a lot?? I also saw a comment about the wire getting in the way when you open the lid lol. You DON'T need to unplug it as that person claimed. The lid can be opened easily by just holding the wire a few inches away when you open it. No problem at all. Some people would just MOAN about anything. Ignore those whingers. This box is very good. It also seems well made and not fragile. It holds a lot and is not heavy when empty. All in all it's a very good box.

This cool box works a bit better than I expected to be honest. I've often thought of getting one, but there are so many and all have mixed reviews. I took the plunge when we were selling our house and needed to move all the furniture out, but stay in it for a few days. This cool box worked very well on mains and was big enough to keep milk, butter cheese etc. and even a few beers in it. It's quite cold and reasonably quiet. A few months later, we took it to a stay in a hotel, just for milk and beer / wine. We had it in the boot of the car running on 12v for about 5 hours and it worked brilliantly. We then slept with it in the room, back on mains power (on the lowest setting) and it was very quiet and remained cold. So far, very impressive.

Took this camping (five days) and just left it running all the time. It's a little noisy, fine on min a few metres away from where you're sleeping, can barely be heard, tolerable on eco, can't sleep on max. Only need max to cool things down initially though I reckon. Everything stayed cold enough on eco, turned down to min after a couple of days and didn't notice a difference temp wise tbh, it was just quieter. Everything stayed fresh, didn't measure the temp (don't think it's as cold as my fridge at home, but it was cold enough for milk to stay fresh and drinks to be cold). Journey time was 4/5 hours and everything stayed cold without power. Worked perfectly for us, and can fit quite a lot in there! The recess handle was sharp! Filed this as really uncomfortable to open for me. It is really heavy when loaded with drinks etc (obviously, they're heavy!) and I didn't trust the handle strength - but it was fine, wouldn't push my luck here tbh as would be really annoying if it broke. Didn't try the warming function, and doubt I ever will.

This is used for our off grid living to keep food cool in the summer when solar is plentiful. It does an amazing job and I have had it for a year now so it reliably made. It has plenty of space and is easy to keep clean. We use it off a 12v system on eco setting and it doesn't seem to drain the batteries. Thank you.

Great bit of kit. Mostly used the 12v cig lighter port to run this whilst driving the camper van. Keeps my good cold, drinks too, cools real fast as well. Tip: I bought some freezer blocks and stick one or two in on initial use, get the temp dropping. Great storage space, and value for money for sure, considering a camping fridge in £100s!! Would deffo recommend.

Very impressed with this electric cool box! Took it camping over the end of May Bank Holiday weekend and it managed to keep everything nice and cold even though the weather was hot and sunny, and up to 26°c. Also, found it to be alot quieter than I expected. All in all, it was nice to have cold milk and beers the whole time

Bought this for a long car ride to our holiday destination. We needed it to keep the milk, some fresh food and some drinks cool for the journey and for when we arrived. It did the job. Obviously it’s not going to be as cold or as good as a proper fridge but it did the job we bought it for. We put it on overnight before we left in the morning so it was nice and cool to put the bits from the fridge in along with a couple of frozen ice packs and it kept everything cool enough for our 7-8 hour journey, which was in the summer heat. It was a definite improvement on a standard cool bag with some ice packs in it.

We’ve only been using this for 1 week but so far we are very happy with our purchase. Kept the food and wine cold all day (July in France), and worked well in the car through the cigarette lighter in the boot as well. It has a quite eco mode where the fan is not so noisy and I guess good for lower ambient temperature, and a high fan setting where the fan is much noisier, to noisy to sleep next to for us, but fine in the day and kept the food cool. I would recommend this fridge and glad we got it - hopefully lasts the full 3 week camp trip. I’ll update if it doesn’t but no reason to think it won’t at the moment.
