I love sweet cookie scents. Christmas cookie was the first yankee candle i ever purchased and kickstarted my yankee candle addiction. Now I'm on a hunt for more sweet bakery scents and this one being the second one i got hold of, does not disappoint.The scent is very different to Christmas cookie in the sense that it has more buttery and caramel notes in it. All i can think of is pure butterscotch and fudge. Less with the sugar, more with the butter and still has some element of vanilla. This is definitely a warming scent.However, be warned. This scent is very strong and has a great throw. But some people smell curry when they get a sniff of this. I found it strange to see other reviews of people saying they could smell curry from this and i thought it ridiculous until my mother walked into my room while this candle was lit and could smell Indian pickles (which has a similar scent to curry). I was highly baffled at this because all i smell is a bakery full of buttery cookies.The only explanation i can think of is that if you generally don't prefer sweet scents then this candle will not appeal to you and may smell like something undesirable, but if you're like me who loves gourmand sweet scents, then you will probably love this candle like i do. And I've only ever lit it once so far and already raving on about it.

This candle smells amazing and makes your home super cosy. It is both sweet and buttery, as you'd imagine, and seems to be burning well so far. I prefer the pillar shape to the usual jars too as I feel they burn more easily. It was delivered safely and in one piece, very happy with this purchase.

this does smell spicy on first light but after couple times just smells yummy.makes you hungry!

I love any bakery scent and when I saw the name I thought yes. And yes was the correct response.Smells divine. Clean burn. Heavy throw which is amazing. Two wick tumbler.Smells of cookies and butter and basically vanilla.

Never had an issue with a Yankee Candle before but this has a very off putting smell when burning.

Amazing scent which filled the room in minutes. Good even burn thanks to the 2 wicks and fantastic price - same size as the other Yankee candles for less than half the price. Can't wait to try the rest of the range!

Was really excited about getting this candle as I love the home bakery smells like pan au rasin, but this was such a disappointment the scent is strong which is good coz I always have an issue with candles that don’t smell of anything! So yeah smell is strong but........ it bloody reeks of curry! God knows wot these other people are smelling( it must b a different candle than the one I got lol!)But is that strong my whole house smells like a curry house, even when it’s not lit the scent has just lingered will not b buying this again.

È la prima volta che acquisto una Yankee Candle della linea Journey, sebbene meditassi di provarla da un po’.Ero piuttosto restia al pensiero di lasciare, anche se solo momentaneamente, quella che per me è la candela perfetta: Vanilla Cupcake.Ovviamente nessun fan delle profumazioni dolci, anzi dolcissime, potrebbe resistere ad una candela che promette di profumare tutta casa di biscotti al burro.Io appartengo alla categoria di amanti sfegatate dei profumi dolci, di quelli che il 99,9% delle persone considera nauseanti; persino il mio balsamo labbra profuma di torta alla crema e vaniglia.Per risolvere il dilemma ho deciso di acquistarle entrambe, sia la solita Vanilla Cupcake che questa Danish Butter Cookie, se avessi dovuto sceglierne solamente una delle due probabilmente ci starei ancora meditando sopra.Ma veniamo a lei, la Yankee Candle Journey nella profumazione Danish Butter Cookie, la vera protagonista di questa recensione.Anzitutto la spedizione: perfetta! Ordinata Domenica pomeriggio e ricevuta lunedì mattina, quindi davvero velocissima. È arrivata integra, grazie alla cura prestata al confezionamento; all’interno della scatola Amazon la candela non viene lasciata sfusa, ma a sua volta racchiusa in una piccola scatola (una sorta di matrioska di scatole) e protetta da cuscinetti di materiale plastico morbido per attutire eventuali urti, mentre all’esterno è presente la classica carta riempitiva e protettiva (che riutilizzo per riempire le borse mentre sono nell’armadio, perché non perdano la forma).Il formato presenta una linea assolutamente minimale, semplice ma elegante, che si distacca nettamente da quella che è la classica giara Yankee Candle.La struttura cilindrica è in vetro trasparente, mentre il coperchio è in metallo argentato. Frontalmente è presente un’etichetta che illustra quella che è la profumazione, in questo caso degli invitanti biscottini dall’aspetto burroso in primo piano, mentre sullo sfondo si intravede l’immagine di una città che immagino essere la Danimarca visto il nome della candela.Corrisponde alla giara grande della linea classica, con un peso di 623,7 gr e garantisce circa 85 ore di profumo.Grazie al doppio stoppino l’aroma si diffonde davvero in tutta casa; nel mio caso è arrivata a profumare 5 stanze in maniera intensa e persistente, naturalmente molto più accentuato nella stanza in cui la candela è accesa, dove il profumo permane per diverse ore anche dopo che la Yankee Candle viene spenta.In quanto intensità e permanenza sicuramente vince questa candela nella versione Journey, che da questo punto di vista mi ha davvero stupito.Il profumo è si dolce ma non quanto la Vanilla Cupcake che per me resta ancora al primo posto. Non associo questa profumazione ai biscotti al burro, ma forse più ad un crem caramel. La dolcezza della vaniglia viene smorzata da una traccia al caramello eppure amarognola; so che l’associazione tra il caramello all’amarognolo non è facile da immaginare, eppure questa è l’impressione. Dolce ma non troppo quindi. Fortunatamente ciò che prevale è la vaniglia e nel complesso trovo questa profumazione gradevole, ma la scelta in futuro continuerà a portarmi verso Vanilla Cupcake.Il voto si limita a 4 Stelle proprio perché il profumo, sebbene abbastanza gradevole, non corrisponde a quello indicato.AGGIORNAMENTO DEL 20/05/2018Ho deciso di aggiungere una stella alla precedente recensione; sebbene inizialmente trovassi questa candela gradevole ma non eccezionale, giorno dopo giorno ho iniziato ad amarla follemente.Il suo aroma intenso e persistente ti entra dentro, diventa quasi una droga e non se ne può più fare a meno. La mia adorata Vanilla Cupcake ora sembra quasi inodore in confronto a questa Danish Butter Cookies che è stata incoronata la mia nuova Yankee Candle preferita.La accendo ogni giorno da due settimane, almeno 8/10 ore al giorno, eppure ancora non è terminata; posso affermare quindi che profuma molto più delle 85 ore indicate.Naturalmente ne ho già acquistata un’altra da utilizzare non appena la prima sarà terminata.Che dire... mai fermarsi alle apparenze. Sicuramente questa candela merita una seconda chances nel caso la prima volta vi abbia fatto storcere il naso.Una volta terminata poi diventa una perfetta biscottiera dove mettere davvero i Butter Cookies!Mai più senza ❤️

Avec cette édition limitée Yankee Candle vous diffuserez dans votre intérieur une délicieuse odeur de petit biscuit au beurre. La senteur est vraiment bluffante de réalisme et très agréable quoique un peu écœurante si on laisse la bougie brûler trop longtemps. La contenance est similaire à celle des grandes Jarres. Très bon rapport qualité prix!

És una de las velas de yankee candle más ricas que he olido, sobretodo para la temporada de otoño invierno repetiré seguro.

È la prima volta che la compro e mi sono fatta tentare dalla fragranza... Ho letto le recensioni e confermo che questa candela sia speciale davvero.... Il profumo si diffonde ovunque con una certa persistenza ma non è stucchevole... La durata è quella tipica delle yankee.. Imballaggio è consegna perfetti
