Best kitchen purchase ever! This machine is friggin awesome. Whole family loves it, as do any dinner guests. The only thing that I didn't like about it is that it doesn't come with any salt or pepper. I didn't realize that and had to go buy some before I could use it. They should just send it with an amount of each to get you started.

This is so easy to use with one hand and does a nice job grinding up the salt and pepper. It looks great and the size is perfect. If only it would refill itself :)

UPDATE #2: After reimbursing me, the manufacturer actually reached out to sent me their upgraded version of this grinder, and it is a MUCH better option. First, it's re-chargeable, so you're no longer going through batteries, and the charge holds for an impressive amount of time. It's powerful enough to grind both salt and pepper without much effort, and even the plastic cover on the front is much more secure.So if you see this product available and it's the re-chargeable version, don't hesitate. It's much improved.And kudos to Sydney and anyone else on the other side of this product. I'm still stunned that they worked so hard to win me back...for a salt and pepper grinder.UPDATE: the manufacturer was kind of enough to reimburse me for the cost of this grinder, and I appreciate how quickly they reacted to make things right from my perspective.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It's difficult to find a bigger waste of money on something that actually started out receiving high praise.In fact, I was so impressed at first that I quickly bought a second to have out by the grill.And then, reality sets in. If it's not burning through batteries, the grinders are getting stuck, or the plastic is coming off, and peppercorns and salt are poured out everywhere, and all of that happens right before it decides to die for no apparent reason.Don't let the high-praise reviews here fool you on this waste of money. It's simply a $25 paperweight. I should have known better when I saw it had a 30-day warranty.Avoid it at all costs.

worked for about 7 weeks, which apparently is 3 weeks longer than amazon will allow a return. support? sure, click the link to support, and the product company tells me that i didnt purchase from them, so they wont support it. is it an amazon problem? a manufacturer problem? as a consumer, should i have to chase this to find out? not sure, but spending 28$ on a s&p grinder, i expected more than a month and a half of it working. i dont have the budget to spend 952$ per year on salt and pepper dispensers though.updated may 12 - thru working with customer service they did a very nice job in making things right with the product. not yet sure what the experience will be with the replacement but i would commend them for working with me to help fix the situation

This salt and pepper grinder is perfect. There is a button for each side on top. I go through pepper like crazy but the salt is only used a bit. It is easy to refill too.

My quit grinding salt and pepper after a year. It looks like it cannot take regular use before the parts inside wear out. I purchased a manual one and I am very happy with it.

Super handy having one-handed use! Only thing to make it better would be larger capacity.

This product is awful if you accidentally hit the door the entire inside of pepper corns and salt comes gushing out into your food. I very disappointed with this product.
