Optimum Lobob Sterile WETTING Solution for Hard Lenses 2 fl oz

I have worn gas permeable contact lenses almost exclusively for the last 20 years and am quite dedicated to them. I found though, as I age, that my eyes are drier and more sensitive. Lobob products, especially this wetting solution for hard and gas permeable lenses, have made it possible for me to continue to wear my gas-permeable lenses. I used to use the commonly available contact lens products available everywhere, but formulations changed and my eyes changed and they just didn't work anymore. My only (small!) complaint about Lobob products is that I have to order them online! I find that Amazon has the best prices and will continue to buy Lobob Wetting solutions and the other Lobob products for gas-permeable lens care.

This is the best wetting solution for hard contact lenses. I have been using this solution for several months. This product cushions and keeps my contacts wet so they feel comfortable thru out the day. It comes in a larger bottle than most other wetting solutions with a great price. I love all the Lobob products. I use to use Boston but after trying Lobob, I found Lobob is much better suitable for me and my contacts. I hope the Lobob products never go away.

Smaller than expected but great to find this brand!

It did not work at all for me. It didn't coat the lenses at all. As soon as I put the lenses in my eyes, they became gunky and cloudy.

I have found that after 8 hours or so, my contacts film over and It's like seeing through water. I have to remove them, which is awful--practically have to peel them off (gas permeable) and clean them over again and re-wet. I don't know if I got a crappy bottle or what...I've purchased here and from eBay. Won't buy from eBay again as I saw a story on 20/20 that gave me the willies!

Bought this to use for gas perms. I think though that this wetting solution is for hard contacts not gas perms. I have used them with my gas perms with no issues. However if you look on LOBOB's website you will see there are solutions for gas perm lenses and hard contacts. I did stop using the solution.

My wife has used Lobob products for years. They even contacted us when I ordered this item they knew was being upgraded so that we could change our order if we wanted to. Delivery has been faster than promised, that's a plus, too, as we were really low when I ordered the newer WRW. I couldn't get Wetting solution in 2oz which is also useful for flushing eyes and wetting the plunger. I might get some simple saline solution for that purpose in the future.

I've had difficulty finding just the right wetting solution for my 70 year old hard contact lens wearing eyes. This solution is the "bomb!" In the past when I found an appropriate wetting solution, it seemed the companies would discontinue that formula before I was ready. I found myself driving all over buying up endangered bottles like Elaine buying up sponges, if you get my drift. How nice to let the letter carrier deliver now.
