My male cat gets urinary crystals and after an emergency trip to the vets they recommend special diet food. We started off with the more expensive stuff but this is just as good and have had no further problems. He polishes it off in no time and can be paired with the dry biscuits.

I know this food may seem expensive but it is lifesaving. My cat had stones and irritation in the bladder. The vets were not good at their job and they basically said keep him relaxed but there’s nothing they can do. Another vet suggested this food. Immediately within a month we noticed differences. He no longer had stones in his scans. And he was visibly more relaxed and happy and urinating normally. So yes it is expensive but I’m saving thousands and thousands on vet bills. I like to order it on Amazon because it comes so quick and I can’t skip a day of it if I run out My cat actually prefers the dry food but the vet said he needs to also eat this wet food one because it will hydrate him. He only has about a packet or 1.5 packet a day with 1/2 cup of dry food and it is enough for the day. With the other cat food he ate too much and gained weight

The cat had no complaints with the contents and he can’t wait for his daily pouch at dinner time. This pouch is combined with the dry biscuits made specifically to complement this wet food. My purchase was made purely due to my cat having to undergo emergency surgery for a urethra blockage - trust me amongst other concerns you do not ever want to think about how they ensure the catheter remains in situ in a male cat… 🪡 😣. To avoid reoccurrence, the cone of shame, and another shaved rear end - a cat must always maintain their dignified appearance, and a fur style similar to that of a baboon’s bottom just doesn’t achieve this - a change in his diet was immediately required. This particular product is specifically put together to help cats with bladder crystals by reducing the crystal development. Thankfully since the end of January there has been no reoccurrence of the issue due to this new diet. There is a relatively strong smell to the content, and it has a very wet consistency when compared to other manufacturers. The benefit to this is that the consistency is easily able to be mixed and conceal medication that’s in powder form effectively, so reducing the chances of your cat refusing it. It’s not the cheapest brand, but I’d rather pay for this item, than the combined costs of emergency surgery, 72 hours of observation at a veterinary hospital, as well as all the testing, which would cover the cost of purchasing of this item approximately 59 times over!

Pleasant, unfortunately this is the only flavour it seems to come in which means my cat occaisional loses interest. One thing to bear in mind; my cat lost a lot of weight. Which is common in renal foods due to the low protein content.

My youngest cat has recently had issues and been diagnosed with crystals. The vet recommended this and the urinary biscuits as one of the options as he's had to have a complete diet change. I chose purina because they were used to the ordinary purina one food although they'd never been fond of wet food. After 3 weeks all symptoms are gone. Both of my cats are REALLY picky eaters so I was a bit concerned, but for the first time ever they are clearing all the wet food. Biscuits were never a problem so theyre happy there. (Vet has said this diet is ok for my other cat too). 10/10. Worth every penny as they love it and its working.

Although more expensive than normal cat food it helps older cats

I use this as part of my cats veterinary diet. He is on a highly restricted diet for urinary issues. This is always a reliable and quick food to get for him and he always eats it all - tho, he’d eat me if he could so I’m not sure that says much. Really nice to know he’s getting the correct food for his condition.
