Update the firmware to the latest version before using the SSD. There were cases of these drives failing and Samsung fixed it. I did use Samsung Magician and updated the firmware to the latest as of now. Check the image attached with the review. This thing surpasses most of the SSD drives in this speed bracket, in my opinion totally worth it for the price I paid. Using it for my PS5, with a heatsink. During tests, it was giving 6557MB/s read speed in my PS5. Game loading times are so tiny I do not even notice it anymore. If you plan to use this drive, make sure you are getting a good heatsink for it because it runs HOT.
