Great Foot Support
Vasque boots have great arch support for flat feet. Cute shoes? No. But if you are on your feet all day these are better than sneakers or standard work shoes. They are pricey, but they last forever.

Broke eyelets first day
Good boots but I had to replace 4 eyelets after they bent then broke clean off

Good quality
These are nice boots. They are great for outdoor activities. The have good traction and are water resistant. They are a little tight, but seem to be stretching to a more comfortable feel the more I wear them. They are well made and look decent.

Comfortable Boots!
I am very pleased with these Vasque hiking boots. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit me perfectly because of my wide feet; my pinky toes are sensitive because of it. These fit comfortably and are not heavy, though sturdy at the same time. The sole is knobby and is perfect for keeping your footing while hiking. I like them and can recommend them.

Superb Quality Boot
This pair of Vasque manufacturer’s boots are of superb materials. So much recycled materials in the making of this leather boot that it’s great for the earth. Always hesitant of boots stating they are waterproof yet really are not. But this pair did a great job in the puddles after our 1st light snow of the season. Great traction with the treads and fit true to size. These really are of high quality materials and look great as well.

Typical Vasque wearability but transition to cheaper build
Vasque has long been known for boots that are wearable almost brand new out of the box and requires very little break-in. This usually comes at the cost of technical support and extreme trail handling. These boots felt good out of the box and a 3 hour first time outing produced no hotspots. It has a bit too much flex at the ankle and along the sole for my liking but some people like to "feel" the trail. I tend to prefer a technical backpacking hiker with a reinforced toe box and very little flex in the sole. That said, these are a comfortable out of the box hiking boot that will be more than enough for day hikes and urban trails. I did not have a chance to test waterproofness yet but hopeful that they live up to claims come raining season. Not for the not so good... Tread is not vibram as they use to be so not sure if they will last. As I mentioned above the sole transferred rocks and pebbles right to my feet so I could feel them through the boot. The lacing system is basic and nothing special. Hooks are made of what looks like a polycarbonate material and not metal. The critical hook at the top of the ankle is single riveted which, in my experience, is the most common failure point. My favorite lacing system rn is the Lowa Renegade series with the ball bearing eyes and solid metal hooks. These boots are not at that level. The laces that come with the boots are also on the short side.

Really painful for the ankles.
The first thing you need to know about these boots is that they were apparently designed for people with very skinny feet. I myself have a very long and slender foot and even II had trouble getting my foot inside. If I would have had a wide foot I would not have been able to get this on. I usually wear a size 10.5 US but I ordered a size 11 and they fit. The big problem I had with these boots is that if I lace them up or tie them they compress my ankles so painfully it is hard to walk. The tongue is overstuffed and sewn to the upper so there is a lot of material pressing into my ankle. I love how the boots look but they are painful to wear.

Well-crafted and comfy
These are well-crafted and comfy hiking boots. They are great for long walks. The boots are roomy, and you feel surefooted in them. They keep your feet dry and toasty. The hiking boots are hard-wearing and stylish. These boots are ideal for my active son.
