Cross-posted as a review for both the highball and the 14 ounce. We had been trying to get red glasses for everyday use for a few years when we came across these. Every other set we had, the glasses were either coated with red plastic that peeled off with regular use (despite advertising saying they were red glass, not red coated glass) or, if they actually were red glass, they were not dishwasher safe. Not exactly practical for everyday use. When we ordered these, we were unsure, both because of bad experiences in the past, and because these glasses looked a bit pink in the pictures. Turns out, there was no reason to be unsure. These are an absolutely gorgeous shade of red, the color is in the glass itself - no coating, and they are nice and thick. Sturdy enough for daily use whilst still being very pretty. They would be gorgeous for people who use separate dishes for outdoor use as well, as they cast beautiful light when they catch the sun. We ended up buying an extra set of four in each size just to make sure that even if they stop producing them and we end up breaking one or two, we'll still have a full set. We've had them since February 2011, and despite being dropped on both hardwood and tile floors, caught on the counter-lip when removed from the dishwasher and one instance of having cold liquid poured into a glass still hot from the dishwasher (oops! :o ), there is not a single crack or chip in any of them. Though I've given five stars on amazon before (and, in all honesty, tend to be fairly generous with high star reviews) this is one of those cases that I can say with no caveats that the product really is worth the high rating. These were ordered as a gift. The recipients use them in their bathroom for holding cotton swabs, cotton balls, the toothpaste tube and toothbrushes. With other decorative accessories, these glasses elevated the items on the bathroom counter. They are delighted with these

These are really really nice glasses! Sturdy, thick, classy enough to use for dinners, gorgeous color (I bought green), dishwasher safe--what's not to like! Came extremely well wrapped, double-boxed and then separate compartments for each glass (I am saving those boxes, can use them!), then each glass wrapped in paper and bubble wrap. This is an excellent product and would purchase more. I just hope that if I break one and need a replacement, Artland will still offer them in the fugure. Suggestion to Artland: expand color range a bit. Or offer a mixture of colors as a set.

Gave this only 4 stars because I ordered the blue and they sent a different color!! I like the glasses BUT am very disappointed that they aren't blue!

These glasses are so beautiful. The perfect size and the look of the seeded glass is just amazing. They were also packaged for shipping the right way, lots of cushion around each glass then the set and then the box. We purchased additional sets after we were pleased with the first set.

I bought these as a gift for a wedding. The bride loves all things ocean and beachy, and the bubbles with the blue seemed right up her alley. I was disappointed when they arrived, because one arrived shattered. The packing was mediocre at best and they arrived too close to the wedding to order a replacement (Partly my fault with the timing, I will admit, but still, when you order a product- especially a glass one- you expect it to arrive in amazing condition). Luckily, Amazon has amazing customer service and gave me a full refund. I kept the three other glasses for myself and I used the money to buy an obligatory Bed Bath and Beyond gift. Had the glasses not broke, they would have made a good wedding gift and I think the bride would have been happy with them. They are unique and fun and compliment casual dining ware. They're good for orange juice, soda, or if it's after 5 PM, a rum and coke. Because the glasses are hand blown, the lip and the glass itself's thickness is not level. The glasses are thin at one side and a bit thicker at the other. I'm guessing this is natural to the process? It doesn't bother me, but I could see it bothering someone who appreciates symmetry. The other thing is that for highball glasses, they are VERY wide. About the width of a mason jar. They could double as small vases. They'd look nice as a small vase too, I guess. I prefer slimmer glasses myself, which is why I'm knocking off a star. They're not perfect, but they're nice
