Big Sur
Nice design, the directional arrows are a nice feature. Connection is so secure and the cable really tightens the bass. Worth the money so well done AudioQuest, now looking into the Rocket speaker cables

Sounds with distinctive highs
If your source (e.g: CD, vinyl, streamer...) costs above 1000 EUR, I can recommend to buy this cable. With NAD C565 CD Player: (that was costed 600EUR 12 years ago):It depends what you listen: With Jazz, classical, hardrock, pop, disco and rap is perfect. With heavy metal (Guns n Roses: Use your illusion) and unplugged (Eric Clapton from 1992), it is quite poor: colored sound feeling with solide bass, but improved distinctive highs sounding. The whole sounding seems forceless. I prefer listen the Golden Gate for these kind of musics. With Sony TCKA-6es deck: I compared with a basic, silver connectored RCAs:Difference: loudness feeling with Big Sur.With Thorens vinyl: it is perfect and allrounder. E.g: The R.E.M. - Automatic For the people album sounds realistic.

My journey from a cable sceptic to a believer starts here !
Replaced some 27 year old Cable Talk cables running from my streamer to my amp with these after looking at reviews and have to say, while I was a tad sceptical about whether RCA cables make a difference, I can say that I immediately noticed an improvement in clarity, bass, midrange and high frequency clarity, so I very pleased with these nice cables - just watch out that your outputs/inputs are close together as this is one single cable that then splits at each end, not two separate cables. For the money, a surprisingly worthwhile upgrade and now I believe that cables really do make a difference (and yes I did numerous a v b comparisons with my old cable, including blind tests)
