Seasonic SS-250SU 250W Flex ATX 1U power supply

Q: Does this have modular cables? It says it does on the Seasonic product page, but I can't find confirmation here.

No This PSU does not have modular cables. They are all attached to the PSU and cannot be detached.

Q: How noisy is this 1U power supply ??

Hi, it is quite quiet, at lease I never noticed it. Just to be fair - it runs in QNAP NAS, and it brings system to stand-by if not used, so most of the time it is quiet and when you are using it, the sounds form HDs are much louder when from the power supply, so it will be difficult to comment on power supply itself

Q: Will the 24 pin fit a 20 pin motherboard? I can't tell by the picture if the final 4 will split? Also can't see on the seasonic website.

Our PSU (From Kate & Mckezine (UK) Ltd) has a 20+4pin so it will fit all boards. If the PSU you get has a 24pin connector that does not split, it may also fit if there are no components preventing the 4 extra pin from hangging on the side. see illustration here: http://www.evercase.co.uk/NoteAboutReplacementPSU.htm#wrong_connectors

Replaced my dead N40L without issue

Fits nicely into the case, but has lots of SATA power so you may need SATA to molex converters (i purchased 5)
