Jamie Oliver Medium Acacia Wood Chopping Board, 2349333

I love the colour of the wood. They have become slightly rough when cleaned. They were great for when I made up my charcuterie boards at Christmas.

Beautiful ! I actually used them to present our wedding cake on and it was great, they now look beautiful in my kitchen !

Been using this board for a while now and after reading some reviews I also found the board to not be to a finish I thought it would be ,it’s a bit rough to start so disappointed with that but easy to sort out I bought some chopping board beeswax and applied it with 0000 grade wire wool which took the rough out the wood and also helps the wood. I saw some people were saying the their board had bowed after washing. I don’t put my board into water, I use the soapy water to wash the top of the board only then dry it straight away . I would say this is my go to board now and with a little care looks better then when I bought it.

Unfortunately I cannot return this chopping board because the return period has run out, it was delivered on the 6th November but I only started to use it after moving to my new address recently. I have used the board ( along with the Jamie Oliver knife set) only four or five times. I noticed the grooves left by a knife after only three uses, and today, cutting up spring greens, the wood actually started to splinter off!!! I know the knives are exceptionally sharp (especially the chopper which I used today) but this board is obviously not fit for purpose!!! I believe the wood to be too soft to make a good board. Do not buy! It also begs the question...does Jamie actually endorse these named products, especially as both items carry hus name. They were obviously not tested together!
