LIQUORICE ALLSORTS JAR (PELLS) 2.25kg

As everything seems to be shrinking these days and prices going up I thought I’d try something different for Dad’s birthday this year and as he is a life long Liqourice Allsorts fan.On receiving this I was quite taken a back…… It’s blooming huge! For the price of a traditional Bassets box at the same price you’re getting a lot more and with the old fashioned sweet shop style the recipient was very happy and is still nibbling on them weeks later.One thing to not the container and lid isn’t made of glass like the old fashioned containers probably because it saves on shipping weight, but this doesn’t make it any less worth the money.Perfect for a gift..

My dad has always had a soft spot for the good old Bertie Bassett all-sorts, now I know that these are NOT berties sweeties, but my dad really rated these, said there was a fantastic selection of sweets and they all tasted great.. sent him a few jars now so hopefully im thinner than him now.. heres hoping. .. Father rating 10 out of 10...son rating 10/10 (as dad was really happy)

This jar of liquorice allsorts was perfect for what I wanted - a 'guess the number of sweets in the jar' competition at a local event. The jar looks like glass but it is plastic - much safer. I only tasted a few of the sweets but they seemed pretty good to me. I chose the liquorice allsorts as I understand that they were popular/originated in Victorian times and the event has a Victorian theme. I am thinking of buying another jar for my husband's birthday.

Good value for money, some miss shapes but tasted good..

Totally biased as I love liquorice, but these were great allsorts and very reasonably priced too.

Attractively package and apparently good value except they’re were too hard, probably stale.
