Extra Large Yoga Mat XL, Wide and Long, Extra Thick Non Slip Exercise Mat

I've been doing yoga for more than 30 years and have always used traditional yoga mats. I needed a new yoga mat and found this one on Amazon and was very intrigued as it was super long. I bought it and what a difference it makes. I no longer have to "skootch" to fit on the mat and it is oversized so no matter what position I take up, I'm on the mat. The thickness is ideal for all floor surfaces. It is not made of the typical sticky mat, it is smooth and has a touch less grip. But I got used to that very quickly and I recommend this for all yogis.

This is the one I’ve been searching for. I’m 5’8” and my head or feet always end up coming off my regular size mat in yoga class. I have tried several mats so far with no luck. The regular size mat is too short, another was too wide and looked silly when carrying around, and another was too slippery. This one is great! It’s the perfect length and width. It blends in with the other mats at class and did not look out of place. I did not come off the mat on this. It grips the floor and did not slide around. I was able to do all typical poses like downward dog without my hands slipping. It’s thicker than a regular yoga mat which is nice and comfortable. FYI it doesn’t come with a strap, so you have to get your own to carry it.

My hubby is 6ft 3 and finally has a matt that fits his body. The extra lenth and width made a huge difference. He says he is happy by the quality. It’s thick enough and comfortable on my knees. The grip has been excellent for his stretching, and bodyweight workouts. There was a slight new mat smell when I first opened it, but it disappeared after airing it out for a day. I was looking for a large mat that offers this space and thicker than then normal mats and I found it. I’d definitely recommend this one.

My son loves it for use in his dorm. He uses it a ton for mobility and stretching for baseball. The thickness is great especially on the hard dorm floor.

Husband is 6'5" and used to do stretches at home a.m. & p.m. on the carpeted floor next to the bed. Just put in hardwood flooring & needed a great, thick mat for a tall man. This is perfect! Gave it to him for Father's Day. He loves it! He is an exercise physiologist, so he knows a great exercise mat. Highly recommend.

I thought it was supposed to have a strap so that I could carry it into my pilates class, so I'll have to rig something up for transport, but I really like the extra large size, I'm 6ft tall, and I fit on the mat very nicely. I also feel like I'm not overextending past the mat, so it saves the proper amount of space I'm going to be using rather than having someone set up too close to me. I highly recommend this brand, but it would prefer a strap or someway to carry it into class more easily.

Absolutely love it. Great product, large size, thickness provides so much comfort on my knees while working out. . I ordered one and ended up ordering a second one for my husband. Definitely worth the money. Only thing I would say is the one I ordered from Amazon does not have a wrap or band to keep it rolled up. The second one I ordered straight from the company and the band was included.

Perfect pick for me at 6'6" with tile floors

Not very grippy, difficult to maintain poses. Would not recommend.

Good but a bit thin

No duro nada. El material es poco resistente, tengo 2 meses usandolo y ya se rompió. Hago estiramientos con tenis puestos. El tamaño es bueno porque soy una persona alta de 1.90m. Y si me puedo acostar sin que los pies se salgan. Tengo otro tapete manduka y el material es mucho mejor, no se me ha roto y hasta mis perros lo pisan y juegan en el.

The mat quality is very good. It is not slippery, it is easy to clean and maintain, and it provides enough cushioning while still feeling stable for balancing poses. However, being 6’8” (203 cm) and weighing 276 lbs (125 kg), I was specifically looking for a larger mat, not as a luxury but as a necessity. The actual length is 83 inches (211 cm), not 7’ (84 inches or 213 cm) as advertised. It is closer to 6’11” (83 inches or 211 cm). The length is still good enough for me, but the width is where I have a problem. It is exactly 30 inches (76 cm), which feels very tight. Because of my long limbs, my knees and elbows constantly end up outside the mat, and I can barely keep my whole body within it. I wish it were at least 34 inches (85 cm) wide, or ideally 36 inches (90 cm). I found other mats that are 4’ (48 inches or 122 cm) wide, but that feels excessive and inconvenient to carry around. I am still unsure whether to keep this mat or exchange it for a larger one. Ideally, a mat measuring 7’3” by 36 inches (220 by 90 cm) would be perfect for me. As it is, this mat is a compromise. Larger than usual, but still not big enough.
