My nails were badly damaged after removing a gel polish, and this was the only product (of the many I tried) that completely camouflaged the damage while they healed.

I love this. When you apply twice - makes a lovely shade of light pink - I often just wear the two applications.

I've used Dermelect's Makeover (a sheer pink opalescent base coat/ridgefiller that I wear alone with a protective top coat) for years, so was looking forward to trying this because I like that "bare, but better" look. However, Luminous is such a light wash of tint with minimal opalescence that even after three coats, it wasn't very brightening. l won't repurchase. but still gave Luminous 4 stars because Dermelect is a quality brand, and I'll continue to buy Makeover for its brightening effect.

I have thin brittle nails. Demelect nail products are hands down the best! They stay on until taken off and strengthen your nails. I won't use any other nail products!

Pricey but worth it. I have been using this for a few weeks now, with a coat of semi-sheer polish overtop. At first I noticed nothing when I removed my polish to re-do my nails, but on closer inspection, I can see where my nail growth is much healthier than the older part of my nail. Second time same thing. I still have ridges, but less, and no discoloration at all!Fast Forward: After using for about 5-6 weeks, my nails became fragile and seemed thinner. So, I stopped using this product immediately, and warn that perhaps it should not be used for more than about 2-3 weeks. On the plus side, there is still no yellowing of the nail...completely solved by this product, who knows for how long, but I will take it! At this point I have switched to a nail treatment/repair product, so I think I am over the hump. My normal (natural nails) grow very fast and need to be filed often, as if I let them get too long they become brittle and snap off. I only use polish on occasion, and never gel.

Saw this polish on QVC so I found it on Amazon at a much cheaper price , this polish does not do anything that the item description says it does. Then after a few days it turned a weird color of grayish blue on my nails. Buy Pink Armour it’s a much better product for $10.
